The AdSense Code is a Keeper

I found this book to be well worth the time and money invested. The references alone are a huge bonus, chocked full of value. When Joel talks about a topic, for example finding content for your blog, he not only discussed the "why" of searching out good content but he also shares the "how" by listing specific web addresses where you can get content. In that regard he literally helps you find exactly what you need and for that reason I also ordered the print version of this book. The references are well work having a record of.

Listening to The AdSense Code left me feeling hopeful that I can duplicate his methods and eager to get started putting his practices to work.

Interesting but needs companion notes

Given the fast moving nature of internet marketing this is probably a bit dated, but it's not a bad introduction. The real problem is that it refers to a lot of sites that you'd need to see to understand the point and it refers to reference websites which really need to be provided in a companion file.

Fantastic Guide to AdSense

I'm quickly becoming a big fan of Joel Comm. The AdSense code has everything you need to succeed with AdSense. Clear examples, easy to read, and Joel knows what he's talking about. I'm now halfway through "KaChing" and would buy just about anything written by this guy. Very pleased with the books and hoping I can duplicate some of his success.

Yes, he had some decent information & reference tools to get you started & better understand the placement & optimation of ads on your site or blog.

Yes, for sure, I listened a couple times & took notes at the same time.

Decent book with some good reference material, really nice listen.

This book increased Adsense revenue ten fold

This is crazy but my Adsense revenue increased more than 10 fold, the crazy thing is that it did not increase revenue on my blogs but on my Youtube channels. I think what helped was the revenue strategies for content and ad positioning. Since this book is mainly focused on blogs you can apply some of its strategies for your Youtube channel. My Youtube channels where producing 5 bucks a month on the best months 10, after applying some tips and creating better content I have had 4 months with income over 400 dollars, something I thought was not possible. I think this book kind of raised my expectations on the possibility of earning cash with Adsense, it works.
I do not make a living on Adsense, I just use it as a hobby all the cash I save, however I know that if I get serious I can multiply those $400 by 10 and really make a living out of it while sipping Piña Coladas on some tropical country.
This is less than $20 investment you will recover a thousand fold!

very much worth the purchase I read listened to this and followed the techniques and my adsense earnings have increased from cents to dollars

Material is too dated

The material in this book is fundamentally sound, but the specific references to information at various websites either does reference sites that no longer exist, or does not reference sites that are very important.

The reader did very well indeed. Very crisp enunciation with pleasant pace and quality.
