Awesome book

So much knowledge. The book was amazing from cover to cover. I've already tried out several ideas.

Useful for anyone self employed or not

Weather your goal is to travel the world or find time from reinvest in new ventures Feriss is really on to something here. I'm already finding areas to implement some of his outsourcing concepts just to take some of the work I'm not as productive with off my plate.

Very informative but not very good story telling

Would you consider the audio edition of The 4-Hour Workweek: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join the New Rich (Expanded and Updated) to be better than the print version?

I would prefer paperback over audio book because this book have some really good information about outsourcing websites which I tend to forget easily on audio version. Also some of the chapters become very boring when the narrator goes on and on about a list of websites to consider. Skipping those chapters on paperback or kindle version is easier compared to audio.

Would you ever listen to anything by Timothy Ferriss again?

Yes, I like his practical approach to life.

A must read and a delight to listen to

A must read for people wanting to escape the rat race. Instead of just opening up your mind to ideas, it gives thorough instructions and lists resources so you can do everything from convince your boss to let you work remotely to hire a personal assistant in India to manage most of your work related communication. Having Ray Porter narrate it's also a treat. I first came across him in the Bobiverse Trilogy and loved his narration so much that when I saw he narrated The 4 Hour Work Week I opted for the audio version as opposed to print.

I plan on going back to certain chapters if the book to follow exactly what's instructed!!

While much of the information in the 4 hour work week I already knew or practiced I didn't get the chance to check out the 4 hour work week 10 years ago when it was all the rave. I will say that Timothy Ferris knows his stuff and that is coming from an Internet Business Person myself. I even learned a few things which is always a plus and what I always look for. Even though the audibook is 10 years old, most of the information still applies. You will find some websites he recommends that are no longer active which is the only negative. A refresher version of the 4 hour work week may be a good idea for Mr. Ferriss to pursue.

Where does The 4-Hour Workweek: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join the New Rich (Expanded and Updated) rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I think it's been 9 or 10 years since I first purchased this audiobook in CD, hardcover and eventually the Audible book, in addition to 5 copies to give out as gifts. Needless to say, I bought so many because it was simply a revolutionary game changer for me and I wanted to have as much access to the material as physically possible.

The direct and indirect skills this book teaches you, are simply priceless for any type of person on any career path. Whether your dream is to become a C level exec at a Fortune 50 or it is to live the laptop lifestyle as a nomadic travel blogger or ecommerce mogul, applying the lessons learned in this book will enable you to hit and surpass your goals guaranteed and at a fraction of the time it would take without this book.

I'm hesitant to use specific examples from this book, because for me, it's not the fine details that are the most important, but the general shift in mindset this book teaches.

For naturally ambitious and driven individuals, I don't think this book is necessary, although even the most ambitious are guaranteed to learn a great deal. But for those who lack the inspiration, ambition, motivation, and general drive required to succeed in todays world, this book will move your needle.

I'm no psychologist, but I think people who lack enthusiasm for career, academic, financial or business success, only lack enthusiasm because they are unaware of what is actually possible for anyone with a middle school education and an internet connection. For those of us who lack personal role models, a mentor or guidance, this book goes a great job of filling that gap.

If you view the book as pure entertainment, that's what it will be. But if you treat the information in this book seriously, like life or death serious, anyone who applies the lessons learned in this book will be on the direct path to success immediately.

Life changing

I am an entrepreneur from Dallas. This book has and is changing my life for the better! It's a must read for people from all walks of life and all professions.

Life changing and motivating

A highly recommended listen for anybody who feels like they are struggling to keep going in a typical hourly job. This book will kick you into high gear and challenge you to become motivated to change the things in your life you may not even know make you unhappy.
