"Leadership mega-guru Maxwell...taps a rich vein of corporate angst." (Publishers Weekly)
This book has some great material within. I have read a number of books about leadership over the past couple of years, and I believe this one to have a lot of the important material from each placed into one book. In addition, this book gives good tips on how to work with other ambitious people and still succeed, as well as how to really help your superiors in a way that helps you and your organization. This book is great for anyone who wants to succeed as a professional
This book applies to everyone because it addresses how to lead people from above, below, and next to you. It's a very holistic approach to managing people like your boss, your co-workers, and your underlings. Read it and you'll be more effective.
The more I listen to this packed-full-of-soon-to-be-classic I realize that Dr. Maxwell's teachings apply and will help in every aspect of my life. It is only up to me to follow his guidance. Thanks, Doctor.
Excellent book with good examples, useful information and a great point of view.
This is an excellent work and needs to be must reading for every middle manager that wants to succeed. Also excellent for front line staff that have views of getting into management.
This is an amazing book on how to positively influence your superiors, your peers and your subordinates!
From the first chapter, I could identify with who he was talking about in my own company. He helped me better understand "leading from any chair" .... I didn't wanna like this book - but I did.
I have no idea. I hate leadership books.
Eh. I got no words. I didn't care that much. It was an educational training book.
yes, if he is aim is to become a team leader or middle manager and like to rub shoulders with superiors.
