No. This is a practical book.
I lists quite som ideas for small talk that introverts may benefit from.
It illustrates the value of small talk but few introverts would ever get around to that.

I was intrigued in purchasing this Audio Book, as I thought..with such a simple premise, there has to be some sort of valuable insight, or a twist on how to intereact with people. Boy was I wrong! This had all of the quality and sophistication of a 1950's-era- educational film on how the earth "is round." Not only does Mr. Topus confirm by his very writings that he manipulates people and settings for his personal business agenda, he undermines the very premise of this book, that all people have something to offer. Apparently not. Stunningly bad book. I do give it one star for this reason -- clearly, Mr. Topus walks his talk. Only through a "random connection" could he have come into contact with someone high enough in a publishing house could this book have been published.
"Not what I expected"
I was expecting more of a "how to" guide outlining the subtle tips and tricks there are for talking to strangers. Rather what I got was a series of short stories resembling a biography, outlining examples of how the author or a friend achieved positive results from talking to a stranger.
While interesting it was not exactly what I was expecting
"Master of Leverage"
The super-successful-American drawl grates from the offset and is entirely mercenary, though I have to admit I (too) did easily warm to the clever Mr Topus - a real master of 'leverage' in business. It does what it says on the tin, though it was a little repetitive at times. I bought this in haste so I expected it to cover lots of different life/career situations - my fault for not reading the description. It doesn't. It is purely about generating income.
