Would you consider the audio edition of Street Smarts to be better than the print version?

Yes, I consider it better. Listening to the audio edition was simply lovely, Sean Pratt made it sound so natural, the contents of the book was simple and yet very insightful. It is like listening to a mentor.

What other book might you compare Street Smarts to and why?

Ready, Fire, Aim by Michael Masterson. They are both genuine business books that provides true insights on the tough task of doing business. They are both very practical.

A must read for business

Being in the business of Corporate Brand design and Brand Positioning for the past 50 years. I found this book to be the most realistic in teaching the real world situations of business from employees to clients and the bottom line. It’s like getting your MBA through this wonderful reading.

Any additional comments?

I wish I would have read this book when I first started out in business. It was slow at times and pretty basic for someone who already runs a company. However, there were also some gems like "don't be social friends with your employees." Something I learned the hard way in business. There were a ton of useful examples and overall a great book.

Exceptional!!!

After leaving my 30 year career, I was looking for a book that would provide a good foundation as I consider starting my own business. This book far exceeded my expectations. It touched on everything I need to consider before starting a business to insights for running a successful small business. My favorite tip was "life plan before business plan". I loved the stories throughout the book. Highly recommended.

This is more than a great guidebook to the small buisness owner. It also provides the reader with some of the author's rich life experiences which can be extended to other important life arenas. I higly recommend this great book.
