A Must Read For People in Service to Others

As a Rotarian, my motto is Service Above Self. By listening to this book I am excited to take an idea that has been in my head for years and start to put a plan in place. All Rotarians should read this book. That is 1.2 million people in 34,000 communities in 235 countries and territories. Think of the additional good we can accomplish.

just what I needed

Everyday I wonder if I'm making a mistake. There is nothing about my vision that will not help someone else. But the fear of stepping out, the fear of making it my focus instead of making money has held me back. This book has not only inspired me but as I push through with my vision it redirects me when those negative thoughts set in. I loved the last chapter where he said it doesn't have to be big it just has to affect. thanks Blake! I'll be giving your book as a gift to someone for Christmas who also has a dream but does not have the strength to step out on it yet. Great book great concept great read great everything!

Business for humanity

Are businesses made just to make a few people millionaires? Can I start a business that not only sells products and makes profit, but also contributes to social causes? SSTM gave me answers to these questions. I was annoyed of the idea of starting a business in advertising, home appliances, mobile apps, etc. that will only cause someone or some people to get richer, while thousands or millions somewhere else barely survive. SSTM showed me how profits can be shared with social and humanitarian causes, how I can actullay feel good about the business I am running - knowing that my success translates into helping someone in need, how new businesses actually get more support when they have charitable goals.

This book is informative, inspiring, and motivating. The author is well written and provides examples from his own experience (TOMS Shoes) and that of other entrepreneurs. Would recommend!

A great man with a great story

The great things in life are simple. As explained in this book-we tend to overly complicate ourselves and missing out on the blissful moment. The simple act of giving goes a long way for many and the returns are more then rewarding-they are true happiness! It has answered all my questions-now I need to act. Much Love, OH
