Learning is not easy during down times, it takes discipline to do the right thing when something goes wrong. As John Maxwell often points out - experience isn't the best teacher; evaluated experience is.

No. I've heard Maxwell narrate a number of his own books and this does not capture the reflection I'd expect. I feel like the meaning is diminished or changed as a result.
Good things to reflect upon.
No - found it quite distracting.
Chapter on humility.
yes, its inspiring. you always learn, no matter what happens you learn, its about changing the attitude.
Maxwell is by far by my favorite author. Pushing myself into the corporate world at the age of 18, was difficult to say the least. I am now 20 years old and managing mutual funds for a living. John taught me that it isn't always going to be easy, but it will be worth it. I've heard him speak dozen's of times, and never miss a book! Thanks for all of the hard work you put in John. Keep em' coming!
Hands down the story of the little girl in the Holocaust... Truly is unbelievable.
Never heard Chris Sorenesen perform before, wasn't bad at all!
Realtor, mom, marathon runner, animal lover!
Enjoyed this audiobook thoroughly. In business, it's true, that there aren't many teachings on how to lose, which is inevitable. This audiobook was encouraging. Relatable stories, and great quotes! Found myself pulling to the side of the road to write things down!
Highly recommend and will be listening to more John Maxwell.

It did exactly what I thought it would. Refreshed my motivation and kept me full of can-do power.
And as you know, John can trusted to not come from some crazy pop-psychology angle, only solid teaching.
