Cardone's style was very sales-like, so when I discovered he was a former used car salesman, I wasn't surprised. The best sales professionals, IMO, are those who don't come across as salesmen (ex: Tom Hopkins). Also, didn't appreciate the chapter-long infomercial for his system and materials, or all the other stuff you could "call his office" to get. That's fine if the ad comes via media like a podcast or blog, but not in a book I've already dropped money for. I'm not paying for the author's book so he/she can just pitch more of their wares to me.
This was the first book I've listened to from this author.
Haven't read the hard copy yet, but I might do that just to see how the information comes across without the personality interjected.
The guy who advertises more stuff he wants the reader to buy. Bought a book, not a commmercial.
Judge for yourself. I don't think it's a terrible listen, but it's not stellar either. Cardone offers some great advice, especially early in the book. A lot of it is common sense you'll hear in any sales book, so it comes down to whether Cardone's style resonates with you. Not exactly my cup o' tea, but your results may vary.
I listen everyday in my car, as well as when I am relaxing at home. I listen this audio before I go on a sale... it just keeps your training fresh.... and pumps you up!
Well, Grant Cardone also authors and narrates two other audios which are equally incredible, in my opinion.... The 10X Rule and If You're not First, You're Last!.... besides Think and Grow Rich, I think these are the only audios you need for success.
He tells it like it is!.... No B.S.... and he knows his stuff... Great motivator and.Great Salesman!

I have listened to different speakers for 25 years, and Grant Cardone is on the top of my List. He is very unique in every which way. I would not listen if he wasn't the narrator... He's that good! ... He also shows by example, which is inspiring. Check him out on youtube
Yes this book helps people to understand what it takes to move forward in any career by focusing on the ideas you are sold on & the reasons you are sold on them. Then helps you to understand how to move those ideas forward & shape them for your own purposes by understanding that selling & being sold is happening every moment of every day...Great book, practical advise- Makes Sense

The style was way over the top. There was some good information in there but as soon as he started pushing a book from L. Ron Hubbard and Scientology I knew I had had enough. Let me sum up the book - be positive - be persistent - take action.
Already did. I told everyone I came in contact with about this book. He is a motivator! You can't listen to this and not get amped up. If, for some reason you don't, check your pulse and check yourself out of sales.
Grant doesn't sit down and proceed to read you page 1 of his book and then page 2. He jumps off the page to help you connect with the message. It's like you are at a seminar of his rather than listening to some boring narrator telling you a weak story.
I couldn't stop. I found myself sitting in my driveway not wanting to shut the car off because I wanted to keep going. I've now listened to several of his books and will be starting on round 2 soon.
The content in this book is very motivational and informative. I have very little background in sales, and the things I learned from this material were extremely helpful.
Ehhh, I'm not sure. He seems to derail quite a bit and the ad libs get exceedingly annoying after a while. That being said, the material is solid and definitely worth reading. I might buy my next Grant Cardone book in a non-audio format.
Grant should help the reader work on how they you could be as successful as he claims he is.

I haven't read the print version but love hearing Cardone's Enthusiasm come across in a way that has yet to be matched in any other audiobook in sales (AND I LISTEN TO A LOT!!)
I enjoyed his tell it how it is attitude and how he gives real life examples of thing you can apply to make you hone your skills in a way that goes way above an beyond my expectations. Cardone is the man!!

The more I think about it, the more annoyed I get. When he mentions "Dianetics" in one of the last chapters, I don't know what he's talking about, but when he mentions this book is written by L. Ron. Hubbard, that gets my attention.
I normally make a rule to live and let live when it comes to religion. I have my opinions, and I keep them to myself, mostly. Even when it comes to such a ridiculous "religion" as scientology.
This is crossing the line, and then pissing on it. I will be asking for a refund.
