    Yes I would, Everyday for 2 hrs/day for 90days - this book will get your mind right as a Salesmen

    It changed for me what it means to be in sales, and I realized that there is not never not a time that I am not selling something, someone, or myself, am I not.

    Grant Cardone is the Man, One Hundred Grand!!! meaning if you read this book and apply it to your Sales Career, there is not any reason you will not never not ever not have a six figure year.

    I am huge fan of a Sandler method of selling!! There are some very nice methods I am going to integrate some of these techniques into my current system though!

    Would you listen to Sell or Be Sold: How to Get Your Way in Business and in Life again? Why?

    I listen everyday in my car, as well as when I am relaxing at home. I listen this audio before I go on a sale... it just keeps your training fresh.... and pumps you up!


    What other book might you compare Sell or Be Sold: How to Get Your Way in Business and in Life to and why?

    Well, Grant Cardone also authors and narrates two other audios which are equally incredible, in my opinion.... The 10X Rule and If You're not First, You're Last!.... besides Think and Grow Rich, I think these are the only audios you need for success.


    What about Grant Cardone’s performance did you like?

    He tells it like it is!.... No B.S.... and he knows his stuff... Great motivator and.Great Salesman!


    Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    No, I periodically listen to it, over and over.... I drill it in my head

    I have listened to different speakers for 25 years, and Grant Cardone is on the top of my List. He is very unique in every which way. I would not listen if he wasn't the narrator... He's that good! ... He also shows by example, which is inspiring. Check him out on youtube

    "How is this a Best Seller?"
    This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

    This book is worse than bad! I was so disappointed to listen. First of all the writer should not have read the book himself. He has a strange speech impediment that I couldn't get over. I am not making fun of his speech, but it was distracting.

    The author is also SUPER arrogant (which is why I believe he read his own book, he didn't feel like anyone could do it better.) I'm all for being confident in your sales, heck we all are confident, or we wouldn't be in this business. But this guy crosses a line and was annoying to listen to.

    There was two different types of information he shared in the book.
    1) Common Sense - I did not have the first "aha" moment while listening to the book. Everything he said that I agreed with was common sense.

    2) Stereotypical and/or Incorrect - There were many things that were said that were simply untrue. I can remember one thing he said that someone who is "frugal" will never be a good salesman. He also said people should be willing to "go into debt to buy your product."

    This is an old school thought for sales to me. I feel as I meet with business owners my job is to consult with them and help them come to decision of how they can best run their business. As a consultant role I am educating and influencing them. Many times I am helping them understand how to run their business more efficiently. I would never encourage them to go into debt, so they can improve their business. That's idiotic.

    Sure sometimes you have to assume some debt, but that should be more the exception than the rule.


    Would you ever listen to anything by Grant Cardone again?

    No way!


    Would you be willing to try another one of Grant Cardone’s performances?

    Not unless my life depended on it.


    If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Sell or Be Sold: How to Get Your Way in Business and in Life?

    I would cut the section from the Table of Contents - The Conclusion...the book was awful.

    "Great Listen. Well worth your time!!"
    Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

    Already did. I told everyone I came in contact with about this book. He is a motivator! You can't listen to this and not get amped up. If, for some reason you don't, check your pulse and check yourself out of sales.


    What does Grant Cardone bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    Grant doesn't sit down and proceed to read you page 1 of his book and then page 2. He jumps off the page to help you connect with the message. It's like you are at a seminar of his rather than listening to some boring narrator telling you a weak story.


    Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    I couldn't stop. I found myself sitting in my driveway not wanting to shut the car off because I wanted to keep going. I've now listened to several of his books and will be starting on round 2 soon.

    Is there anything you would change about this book?

    The style was way over the top. There was some good information in there but as soon as he started pushing a book from L. Ron Hubbard and Scientology I knew I had had enough. Let me sum up the book - be positive - be persistent - take action.

    If he would not have pitched Dianetics and Scientology and just stuck to sales info.

    I would have cut the part where he mentions a book that he says is important to understanding people so you can sell, then won't tell you the title of the book so you have to call his company, and then finding out that he is trying to sell Dianetics.

    I don't care what your belief system is, I will buy good products and services from anyone of any faith, but do not try to pitch your ideology as part of you product, especially in a dishonest and ambiguous way. That is incredibly unprofessional and inappropriate. I gave the book 2 stars instead of 1 because the info. is decent.

    Would you consider the audio edition of Sell or Be Sold: How to Get Your Way in Business and in Life to be better than the print version?

    I haven't read the print version but love hearing Cardone's Enthusiasm come across in a way that has yet to be matched in any other audiobook in sales (AND I LISTEN TO A LOT!!)


    What did you like best about this story?

    I enjoyed his tell it how it is attitude and how he gives real life examples of thing you can apply to make you hone your skills in a way that goes way above an beyond my expectations. Cardone is the man!!

    I enjoyed every piece of this audiobook equally

    The more I think about it, the more annoyed I get. When he mentions "Dianetics" in one of the last chapters, I don't know what he's talking about, but when he mentions this book is written by L. Ron. Hubbard, that gets my attention.

    I normally make a rule to live and let live when it comes to religion. I have my opinions, and I keep them to myself, mostly. Even when it comes to such a ridiculous "religion" as scientology.

    This is crossing the line, and then pissing on it. I will be asking for a refund.
