Rich Dad’s Cashflow Quadrant reveals how some people work less, earn more, pay less in taxes, and learn to become financially free. Have you ever asked yourself:
Cashflow Quadrant was written for you if you are ready to…
"The main reason people struggle financially is because they have spent years in school but learned nothing about money. The result is that people learn to work for money… but never learn to have money work for them." (Robert Kiyosaki)

Internet entrepreneur from the Netherlands.
The rich have a totally different set of rules and (fiscal/financial) laws that they live by. And it is not discriminating. Every person can choose to life on the E (employee) and S (self employed) side of live where they are taxed heavily and always struggle to stay on top or on the B (business owner) and I (investor) side of life, where true freedom is possible.
This book is read in such a way that it's almost as if you can hear Robert Kiyosaki read it himself. Which is great of course. Great combination of great writing (in speaking-style) and performance of narrating it for us.
Very easy and pleasant to listen to and it changes your persective on society and really makes you think and want to start changing stuff.
I recommend you play the online version of Cashflow 101, the online game, after listening to this book.
This had more detail, and I found it to be more motivating than RD/PD.
It's time to evaluate whether I intend to stay in the E (Employee) quadrant, or move to the B (Business Owner) or I (Investor) quadrants.
This is a good book. It helped me understand new ways of thinking and approaching money. It makes clear, and I agree, that our society does not teach the middle class now to manage money well. We can be fine if we follow traditional "save, and invest and diversify" steps but probably not rich. I found myself challenged to learn and do more financially. Others do it, we can do it too.
The book contains a lot of interesting lessons and insight into who we are as well as help you see where you want to be more clearly.
However the problem with the book is there is a lot of repetition. A lot. The book could've been written in less than half the space and not loose a single lesson or even single sentence. 😐
Pros: Introduces the Cash Flow Quadrant
Neg: Too much of the audio is filled with famous sayings and stories of success found in his other financial books. I would have paid the same price for the book even if it were 1 hour long without all the extra fluff (repeated items).
If you get nothing out of this, you should get that proper cash management is a significant key to financial independence. Stop spending, start paying off revolving and other debt, and start on the B side of the quadrant, while building towards the I side. I recommend this book to anyone who desires to finally take control of their finances.
I'll keep this short. This book, like all the others I've read by Robert convey a few general concepts. My issue is that this book could literally be a tenth it's current length. It's the same information, over and over and over. Furthermore, if you general knowledge of wealth management, then this book isn't for you. It's as simple and general as they come.
I thought I liked Rich Dad Poor Dad until I read this book!!! I love this book even more! This book is so much better than the first book, but you should read Rich Dad Poor Dad first. This book helps identify who you are, who you surround yourself with and where you want to go! I am both inspired and motivated to get my finances under control and make my money work for me!!
Absolutely. I need to keep referring the principles Mr. Kiyosaki has explained and it would certainly be worth listening several times especially during challenging times.
It really made it clear with examples and facts that good grades in schools/ universities doesn't really matter in financial success of a person. Being educated about Finance/ Investing/ Business really matters the most.
The entire Audiobook performance by Tim Wheeler has been very good.
Gaining Financial literacy, associating with Right people, asking for Mentoring and ofcourse, transitioning from the E quadrant to the I quadrant.
Its a must listen for everyone who aspire to be a successful entrepreneur. Fantastic work by Mr. Robert T. Kiyosaki.
I have read a lot of Robert Kiyosaki books and I am highly impressed and learnt from them. This book, Cashflow Quadrant, is no exception. I first read the cashflow quadrant book, and then i bought the audiobook and listened to it.. I found it a lot easier to just listen to this audiobook on my laptop, Smartphone and other devices. I listen to this audiobook very frequently and it keeps me going in my desire to become my own success. This audiobook is very motivational. There is nothing better than been able to listen to this type of message in a relaxed mood from your Smartphone or laptop. Thank you Mr Kiyosaki.
"Interesting, but not much information added"
If you have read "Rich dad, poor dad", you will find a lot of repetitions here. There is not much information added, and it was a bit disappointing to re-listen (or re-read) the same concepts and examples. However, it you are just starting on this path it is useful to repeat and consolidate ideas that could be totally new for you. Download it just in the last case.
The narrator is very good. Clear pronunciation and good pace.
The book is clearly written for an American audience, with lots of references to US tax law.
No but personally I would avoid other books by the same author. There is just far too much repetition, little in the way of content and annoyingly constant references to buying the author's 'cashflow' game!
The narrator is easy enough to listen to... it's just the content that might send you to sleep at times.
Rich Dad - far too pleased with himself!
I haven't read the original but thought I would give this one a try. There are occasional interesting passages but mostly it feels like the author is trying to spin out a limited amount of information over a whole book.
"Adds value on top of the original book"
Tim Wheeler narrates another Rich Dad book very well. He has the perfect style to narrate this type of book.
This book definitely adds further value on top of the original Rich Dad Poor Dad book and is worth listening to, it's not just the same content re-hashed and both books offer a lot of value.
"Good Listen and highly recommended."
This is a great Audio book and at the age of 51 has completely changed my way of thinking and helped me to understand my quadrant. I have ordered board game and have started to impliment changes in organising my cashflow. very surprising how much I have been wasting for many years. Top marks
"Im 56 How did I think so smalk"
loved it...Read rich dad poor dad first...trying to encourage my 25 year old to give it a listen...absolutely disappointed that I've not thought out of the box...so much is learnt behaviour...i rebelled when young then drank too much...so took me 20 years to regain families trust I am a good honest hard worker...what a waste I could be so happy living a life of financial security instead up to my eyes in debt...got to start playing the game...Thanks rich dad...I feel free now. great easy read a few quid...thats all to changing your life...try it and see...and trust and find your passion and BIG Why in life. BOOM!!!
This book breaks down every area a person goes through when they have reached a point of wanting to change their financial condition. Easy read packed with great golden nuggets, which when applied truly shows results instantly. Lastly I would advise you to buy this book you won't be disappointed that I can guarantee.
"insightful and very inspiring read !"
I enjoyed this experience. I read this book for the first time about 10 years ago but to listen to the audio was quite an experience. Excellent presentation!
"Low reverb on readers voice"
It's ok but the reader has a low tone to his voice and makes a low level reverb whenever he talks.
Great conditioning tool! A must read for any walk of life. Typically an educational book that transports the means of sensible accounting of ones financial status!
