Great book that gives common sense guidance on maximizing the time on the peaks, minimizing the time in the valleys and getting the most good out of both experiences.
This makes on examine the highs and lows of our lives. How long you want to stay in the valley or say on the mountain tops of life. Author uses the simplest of examples to make you think about your life's up's and down's. Must Read and examine.
Such a well constructed story that conveys some very profound yet common sense messages. This book helps you connect the dots and gives you some good cognitions, all of which you already know to be true but somehow have been programmed to forget. Highly recommended.
It does weave it as a story to keep it interesting.
It is a reminder that, while the peaks can be crazy, you cannot forget to take the time (which is tough to do) to lay the groundwork to smooth out, or even avoid, the valleys.
The book simplifies what you may already know that life just 'is' but how to deal with it for the best results for YOU. Very relatable text and to the point.
