Content is mainly boiler plate sales techniques. But not useless. Narration is a robot voice. A very advanced, well honed robot voice. Yet still a robot. The syntax, coupled with annunciation, are often clearly being spit out by a program. If I'm wrong, my apologies to the narrator who speaks like a hyper articulate Stephen Hawkins impersonator.
I own a small shop selling custom/costume Jewelry. I love to listen to audio books while I create jewelry. I love all animals and get very upset when they aren't treated well, even in fiction.
I had the feeling listening to this that I was being read a college textbook. Information was repeated over and over and over again~I kept waiting for the pop quiz and the final exam! There was some good information in this book, but a lot of it was really common sense things like don't stand around talking to your colleagues when there are customers in the store ---I mean HELLO!?! Who doesn't know that???
Great naration and very poiniant. I loved it from the begining to the end. Story-teller style makes you want to keep listening. Great ideas and great entertainment value.
No matter what industry you are in, this book provides helpful ways to be extremely successful in sales. The author definitely knows what he is talking about! I've used some of the tips already and they work!
