This audiobook has it all - guys from the Ranger Battalions, West Point, ROTC, and more. They relate different aspects of how they decided to go, how they prepared, what experiences they had at the School, and how the lessons they learned have helped them in their personal and professional lives. Leaders and managers face those inevitable times in their organizations when they must brace for turbulent weather and be ready for heavy workloads and unforeseen troubles.
Leaders have to rely on themselves, and more importantly, their work forces. No Excuse Leadership explains the kind of person you have to be in those difficult times. You will discover the mindset that makes people successful in Ranger School and the difference between those who simply survived and those that thrived.

The title of this book is lessons learned from the Elite Rangers. First my kudos to US Rangers! My eyes were opened to exactly what they go through to serve our country. Absolutely incredible. I know I couldn't make it.
Having said that most of the book was simply stories of the author plodding his way through rain, sleet, mud, snow, and what muck there is around. I think the reader would have been better served if the actual lessons were highlighted in a practical manner.
This was pelt written and had nothing to do with the main subject of the book. The author toots his own gotten add if Ranger school was the toughest program in existence. Did not like the author voice over, he is meant for children's books. Finally last chapter he plugs his own business.
Highly recommended for anyone who works in or have a background in military and or law enforcement. The lessons here also applies to the corporate world as well. In short, leadership lessons from the ultimate leadership school!
This book would be great for someone who is about to join the army, it is loaded with details on Army Ranger training, but is short on comparing these feats to any type of leadersip analogies. Better to spend time listening to more executive type books than this one. Sorry, I had high hopes for a no-nonsense get down and dirty how-to leadership book, but got a diary of boot camp instead.
