The book offers about 2 key insights (don't broadcast but listen and always be honest) and goes a long way to explain these from all kind of angles. The way Dave elaborates, doesn't add much to the basic insight,s so after a couple of chapters I just listened to the title and the intro and it got really boaring and repetitive.
I've already recommended Dave Kerpen's Likeable Social Media to my teammates - he's got me thinking about how I can leverage his concepts in my professional life. The book is written to be engaging for all levels of expertise in social media and I'd highly recommend to anyone - from the pros looking to spark some creative ideas or explore best practices to beginners looking to capitalize on this emerging communications medium.

Performance was ok, but it was hard to appreciate it when content was so shallow.
Disappointment, this material isn't worth a book that you would pay money - it just a series of self promoting blog posts.
Note to self: do your background work better, don't buy books from authors that clearly have self promoting in mind.
Facebook centric and a little dated though most of the principles apply across social networks.
Well read though the voice grated after a while... Sounded a little cheesy.
