Amateur narrator and avid audio book enthusiast!
This overview of Lean Six Sigma was just that, an overview, and a very high level one at that. I know that the book is short and as such has limited bandwidth for presenting details, but with a "Quickstart Guide" title, I expected something that would actually help someone get started with Lean Six Sigma, and I did not feel that this book accomplished that goal. That being said, the material was still interesting and I enjoyed listening to it.
As far as the "performance" or narration of the book is concerned, I enjoyed Lucy's voice and thought she did a good job reading the material and keeping it from being too dry. My only complaint and the reason I only rated the performance at 3 stars is because there is a slight room echo, and while it probably won't bother most people, it was a bit distracting for me.

My biggest complaint about this book is that is one of those audio books that comes with a pdf that you are expected to be able to look at while listening. I think that's obnoxious because if I were in a situation when I could look at a page, I'd just read a book, not listen to one. But if that isn't a pet peeve for someone else, it's a pretty good introduction to LEAN Six Sigma. Not very in depth, but plenty to decide if you want to learn more. In fact the book is setup to help people decide if LEAN is something worth pursuing for their business and industry.
I was interested in this audio book because my employer has recently implemented some of the lean strategies explained in this book. I was curious to find out what was at the core of this model for management and this book helped me to better understand what the management at my workplace were trying to implement.

I enjoyed the .pdf download that accompanies the audio book. It allowed quick reference material so I didn't have the need to take notes.
Although this is not a subject I am extremely interested in, the guide is well written in layman's terms that it makes it very easy to understand upon first listening.
A junior college attempt to write a summary of companies that use six sigma. Totally useless. The author should be taken off the audible book list. I am going to petition to get my money back!
a trickier read initially, but once you can wrap your head around it it really comes to life. Lean Six sigma can change business and this particular book makes you want to put it to use immediately.

The soothing and slow paced voice of Lucy Vest was the highlight. The clean and understandable speech made it very easier o follow and understand the concept!
This was my first book on the topic so I have nothing to compare it with, but Lucy Vest voice really captured my attention which I feel somewhat missing in other audiobooks I have heard.
She made the otherwise dry topic so interesting!
It is a very well structured audiobook for beginners like me that would expose them to the new approach. The pdf version with charts and table was really helpful to understand and follow parts which otherwise would have been hard.
I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I've heard of Six Sigma before and the belt system they use, but not much else. This definitely helped me understand the finer points of lean management, and its a great supplement to the other audiobooks about lean. I'm a bit of a boring person and enjoy learning in a more textbook format. So it is important to know this audiobook is very structured.
Lean Six Sigma QuickStart Guide is another good starter guide from ClydeBank Business. This provides excellent guidance for those aiming to manage an organization by providing an above-average business management model. The narration -- Lucy Vest --, as usual, was spot on and the references to the pdf files were always appreciated as they illuminated the content being listened to. Recommended!

This book is an excellent starter guide for anyone who is new to lean six sigma. It's an excellent business management model, and this book will walk you through the aspects of managing your organization. I highly recommend it to any small business owner!
I haven't, but I really enjoyed her accent! I think it was British? It was really pleasant to listen to.
