    "just refreshing"

it is nice to hear people who lived it, and loved it.
the nuturing of the top 20 and the 8 hours replacement strategy was an eye opener.

"A good complement to the book"

This interview is a nice complement to the book "Winning" and I suggest you listen/read the book first (which is a great one).

"Nothing about Winning, everything about Jack"

This audio book is a long winded boast about all of Jack's accolades managing GE and contains an accumulation of vague examples of how his experiences managing GE could some how apply to your life (in which he makes very weak connections). The only practical advice he gives comes in the last chapter, when he advises how to advance your career by stating the obvious, corporate ladder brown nosing. Get your direct manager to look good so that when he/she gets promoted, you'll get your promotion. Unless you’d like to support Jack’s retirement, don’t get it, save your credit for something that is more coherent. I'd give it zero stars to bring down it's over inflated rating.

    "Medicore Quality"

You really pay for what you get. It seems that the interview was scripted way ahead of time.

Jack Welch is about authetic Candor, this interview really lacks that. Although it is mildly informative.
