Disappointing

The format of the audiobook is very hard to follow and the narrator's voice has almost put me to sleep while commuting several times. The content is very basic psychology, if you took a psych class in college then most of the information will be familiar. To me most of the suggestions were obvious, perhaps someone else may find the information more helpful. I would pass and read the reviews on the print version as well.

Too long.

30 minutes of great information strung into 5 hours because the author feels like he needs to sell the concept instead of recognizing intelligent minds can decide for themselves whether the practice may be useful.

A bit of info in a boring presentation

Let's start with chapter 1. The example he used bypassed step 5. I would think you'd want something that clearly delineates the process instead of throwing out a special case off the bat. I found it boring and I often lost interest. The tiny bit of info in this nearly 7 hour snoozefest is good and works. But darn it all, why would anyone invest 7 hours to get half an hour of information? I'll be very cautious when purchasing the Audible version of these kinds of books in the future. If it's in print, I can skip the long drawn out stories and simply read the relevant information.

Valuable Skill

This book presents an effective approach to an age-old problem. I now regularly employ the skill taught here for the benefit of others.

It was alright

This is a good process to help people change their own mind, but the conversation seems so unnatural that you can sense the manipulation.
With that said, I can totally see how each step could be used on their own in different selling situations, so overall this book was worth listening to!

Great info, but hard listen...

Impressed by information, but delivery was very hard to listen to. Found myself having to re-listen as the voice was very monotone and not easy to concentrate on. But very useful information.

Chapter order totally messed up, still a good listen

This book had a lot of great content on influence, and getting to a person’s intrinsic motivations. The chapters are completely out of order though, starting with the final chapter first.

Incredible resource for max persuasion and influence.

I really enjoyed every aspect of the book and I’d recommend it to everyone who has a heartbeat and Breaths oxygen. I gave it five stars across-the-board because it sounds simple but very powerful message across to anyone that’s incredibly valuable.

Extremely useful in a day-to-day vasos.

A simple method to make people think about their motives to go ahead.
For those whose objective is to get things done is a mandatory reading.

Good basic influence technique

The author makes influence simple. 6 basic questions to ask someone to influence them and keep going back to it. I think the technique is simple and repeatable.
