    Story
    "Outdated"
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Today, the IT world changes at the speed of light. Today's headlines are obsolete by the weekend. Books are usually stale by the time they hit the shelves of a bookstore.

As an IT Professions on the cutting edge of the industry, I hear about many new services and technologies long before they become public. So I personally found the book as a recap of what has happened in the industry over the past 8 years..

Someone that is not in the IT industry may still find this informative useful, but I would not recommend it to anyone to anyone already in the IT field. You'll be reading about the work the work that the guy you replaced 2 years ago did before he was outsourced.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

I found it a bit dated.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

    Narrator was fine

What did you take away from Information, Technology, and Innovation that you can apply to your work?

Nothing. The information presented is common knowledge in the IT industry. It's on the edge of becoming old news.

    Any additional comments?

Book is geared toward someone that is not currently involved with the IT industry. By the time something gets printed on paper and is put on a bookshelf for sale, it will be yesterday's news.

    Story
    "Fantastically stimulating and well argued"
If you could sum up Information, Technology, and Innovation in three words, what would they be?

    Brilliant, Stimulating, Important

What other book might you compare Information, Technology, and Innovation to and why?

The Master Switch, Tim Wu. Understanding the empirical realities of the technologies that so powerfully impact our lives and the hegemony that controls it is am important concern. Each of these books fills in important aspects of that domain/

What about James Lewis’s performance did you like?

It was appropriate and easy to listen to.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Too meaty to listen to in one sitting.

"Case studies and real-life stories are great!"
Would you listen to Information, Technology, and Innovation again? Why?

This book has tons of examples, case studies, and real-life stories which make this book fascinating! Every point is followed with real example, which makes the book feel more like an interesting dialog.

    Any additional comments?

Although great, it’s long! 15 hours is a lot to get through…but still worth it!
