During economic contractions, it becomes much more difficult to sell your products, maintain your customer base, and gain market share. Mistakes become more costly, and failure becomes a real possibility for all those who are not able to make the transition.
But imagine being able to sell your products when others cannot, being able to take market share from your competitors, and knowing the precise formulas that would allow you to expand your sales while others make excuses.
In If You're Not First, You're Last, international sales expert Grant Cardone explains how to sell your products and services - despite the economy - and provides you with ways to capitalize regardless of your product, service, or idea. His proven strategies will allow you to not just continue to sell, but create new products, increase margins, gain market share and much more. I would recommend this audio book by Mr. Cardone because he's a great salesman. He details various strategies for aggressively dealing with the economically challenged circumstances we find ourselves in.
Sell or Be Sold. Because he's the one reading it. He also gives advice that's outside of the book - from time to time.
Not necessarily an extreme reaction. It does cause one to ask - If you're just sitting around not taking any action at all for the betterment of your business - how are you going to improve your personal economy?
A great listen! I'm in the car most of the day and by the time I get to where I'm going - I'm motivated by his speaking and have some great ideas to put into action. Well worth it!
Interesting title but disappointing sales advice and very long winded. Grant provides the usual sales ideas and the few good points he makes come at the price of having to endure the entire book.
Shorten the entire thing by 50%.
Disappointment, I look for 5-10 ideas whether they are new or a reminder of what I should be doing.
I don’t feel I good any out of this one. The book is too long winded.
if you think that average sucks then listen to this book and implement what Grant recommends
I'm a landscape architect by profession and an avid listener of audio books ! I particularly love the historical based fiction series, like Courteney, McCammon, and Gabaldon,. I listen in the car, while designing in my studio and most evenings.
I not only recommended this book, I bought copies for my friends! Eventhough I've been in sales for 20 years, Grant Cordone had a pocketful of gems and tools for me to use. Grant has that over aggressive, enthusiasm that initially turned me off, but the content keep me interested through the whole book. If you follow his lessons at the end of each chapter you will increase sales and motivate your team.
Enthusiatic, Motivational and sometimes overbearing. However he does a great job!
I now have a book of tools to use to increase sales for my little company. Like setting up a monthly newsletter to my clients, speaking at real estate offices, women's groups, etc., about landscape design and the value that a great garden adds to ones enjoyment of their property and rapid sales in the Real Estate arena.
This is one you will listen to over and over again,
I like business books and to hear the success stories. This was a nice change of pace, a little shock so to speak. It made me rethink my stance of how the economic situation has effected me and my roll in "taking it like a man".
I like business and sci-fi books.
This is a a-typical self-help book that keeps repeating that it will show you "the good stuff", "how to make money", "I will tell you how I...X" - but *never* does.
The narrator is going on how extremely successful he is without ever telling you why, just that he is and that he did it by being persistent in doing. Well - that is not something you need to read a book about.
yes, but I guess no one but the author was willing to record this book.
Don't buy this book.
Grant Cardone was out of this world! The fact that I can listen to the audiobooks whenever I want, rewind it makes things 10x better than reading! Grant is motivational and he teaches you what school doesn't. If your not first, your last better get your books!
"Engaging, exciting and insightful"
First audiobook I have purchased and it surpassed my expectations. If you are in any way familiar with Grant Cardone then you will expect a certain style of delivery and you won't be disappointed. However, GC also stands for Great Content.
Loved the homework at the end of each chapter.
Brilliant practical tips I used as I was listening and putting in action.
Im a millionaire and Was worth my time and will listen again in the gym , buy it dont be a pussy, just bought his other books too!
Definitely better than the print version because of the additional content Grant throws in. Really gets you motivated.
This is as good as any of his other books, just downloaded the latest one and can't wait to get started.
