    very practical

I loved how the author would contrast how people naturally talk (ineffective) with how you can talk to be more influential. I choked up a few times because I thought how much better of a person I would be if my husband treated me that way and how much better of a mom I could be if I treated my kids the way he recommends. it's all about making people feel important and treating them the way you want to be treated. Using kindness instead of intimidation or anger. Using praise instead of criticism. Seeking to understand, then be understood.

    Eternal Classic, Reccomended for You

The immortal work of Dale Carnegie is always worth reading / listening to again!
Whilst some personalities referred to might be a bit aged, the principles are not. If you read contemporary literature you will find it referred to very frequently, still.

    Excellent!

What made the experience of listening to How to Win Friends & Influence People the most enjoyable?

I took this course in 1997 and love every minute of it, but found i don't really have a lot of time to read. When i saw this was available to listen to, I jumped on it. The reader's voice was very easy to listen to and I would recommend this 100%

What did you like best about this story?

It really wasn't a story, however it was told using many story examples and i liked the examples the author uses.

    Which scene was your favorite?

    No Scenes

What insight do you think you’ll apply from How to Win Friends & Influence People?

It is a book about principles and I appreciate the topic about having good meetings. I struggle with those, so this principle i will use.

    Any additional comments?

If you are sitting on the fence on this one, don't...Just get it you won't regret it.
