    Very repetitive

Most of the book is just giving examples of the knowledge applied in the book. Of course this wouldn’t be a bad thing if it were kept to a minimum but after what feels like 100 examples of the exact same lesson it starts to get boring, repetitive, and dull. The messages in this book are very profound and I will apply them to my life but, honestly a lot of the book just seems like unnecessary filler.

    Life Changing Book

I have problems with connecting with some people, so I decided to give this book a try since it is so well known. I didn't think I would learn as much as I did from it. I like the quote from the book, "when dealing with humans, we are not dealing with creatures of logic; we are dealing with creatures of emotion." I never really thought about people like that, but I completely agree. This quote has helped me understand a lot of people. I realized that it wouldn't matter what facts or science I threw at someone who was disagreeing with me, they were not coming from a place of logic. This book helped me value the emotional aspect more, and I'm finding myself getting into deeper conversations.

I also learned that being "right" all the time isn't necessary. If a friend says something inaccurate about an unimportant detail, it's probably better to just let that detail slide and follow the person's main thought and enjoy their company. In the past I sometimes made tiny interjections to correct people on unimportant details when they're speaking, and this book has helped me stop that annoying quality about myself.

    Timeless advice

This is a book I will keep handy for the rest of my life and career. All principles in this book are valuable, but the underlying need in applying these principles is sincerity. “Be hearty in your approbation and lavish in your praise.”

    Great stories and easy listening

It starts out with stories about deplorable people and how hard it is for them seeing fault in their ways which is pretty interesting. After that i really got into to the book with great stories and the relevance with the principles taught in this book. Suitable book for everyone in my opinion
