This book has great information in that it has some ideas that I as an author had not heard of or thought of, but it is clear that the author of the book is an author and not a reader. He should definitely have gotten a professional narrator. His voice is slow and and his accent and reading is unprofessional. The information in the book is great, but read this one in paper rather than an audiobook format.
His voice is slow and his accent and lack of diction is quite distracting.
The content of this book is so good that I need to purchase a hard copy or Kindle copy for future reference. However the author should have taken his own advice and invested in professional narration.
Excellent content; well thought out and plenty of depth.
Painfully, painfully slow.
I don't think this particular topic needs a follow up. It is complete. Johnson does have books in several other niches that can be considered by persons interested in those niches.
I would have given this a five were it not for the narration. Johnson is educated, articulate, and a good writer - just not the right person to be narrating. The narration is painfully slow, which I suspect is because in Johnson's own words, the price of the audio book is based on its length in hours. His diction is reasonably good, but his ability to be expressive about subject matter that he clearly cares about, is totally lacking. Keep this in mind if you buy the audio version, but if you're interested in this topic you should buy another version immediately. It's every bit as good as a "course" on the topic for which I paid $300 - and a whole lot cheaper!
Hired a real narrator- don't be so cheap. You stutter and struggle through reading like a fifth grader. Maybe great content, but hideous narration.
I find it hard to believe he actually wrote this book- considering he can hardly read.
