"Jim Cockrum's book is a megaphone for anyone who wants to get the word out about their business!" (Dave Ramsey, New York Times best-selling author and nationally syndicated radio talk show host)
I set more bookmarks in this book than I have ever set before! There were so many golden nuggets and so many useful links, that I was more than satisfied within the first few chapters. I plan on listening to it again and again.
Jim has a few good points here, but in the methods he presents are a bit to cold and unpersonal. I'm sure this will appeal to some but even if I could make some money from this, I'm pretty sure I would go for something else.
In God I Trust • Everything else is questionable
We had a great time here at TZAR Marketing listening to this audio book. At first, we found that the book was hard to follow. After listening 3 times. The team was convinced that this was a must have book for any marketer or entrepreneur.
One of the most helpful business books that I have ever read. Will be buying copies for my employees! Thanks for an amazing reference book.
WEB MARKETING 101
This would could be a text book for a class on web marketing for busy business owners/managers.
The narrator is very believable.
Yes I would recommend this book! It filled with a lot of great information and tips and tricks!
Good Cheap Ideas!
I listened to this in my car, which wasn't the best idea since I kept wanting to jot down some of the ideas!
This is a great book but I think it would be better if each chapter had a To-Do list at the end.
Fantastic book though, very useful
I've just started listening to this (still in Part 1) and so far the material seems like it's really good, but you have to get past the way this guy reads. His voice fluctuation is awful! I wish I had the printed version instead so I could concentrate on the material more and not be distracted by the narrator. Maybe the narrator was one of the freebies Jim found. Ugh!
Yes, if he had someone else narrate it.
No, couldn't do Sean for that long.
We'll see once I get through it all.
-Note to Mr Cockrum: I know you hired this reader because his voice has an authoritative tone to it, but it comes off as snobby when the subject matter is more practical application and not groundbreaking in nature. I've heard your voice on the audios in your websites before, and I feel as though the readers of your books would benefit much more if you hire a narrator that matches your own lively tempo and personality. -
The information is great. The author proves that if we put these strategies into practice we'll reap great reward. I've finished the book and I know that I'll listen a few more times to pick up the things I missed. I'm just reluctant to do so while driving as I managed to doze off while listening to it in my office a few times, coffee in hand.
My advice to others: Buy the paper copy if you can. But if you do most of your "reading" while driving, get this. It is worth the $, either way. I would only recommend you increase the narrator speed to 1.5x. Safety first. ;)
