one of the top 3 books I have listened to in the past year.
I think there are so many ideas, some of them did not work for my industry, but all the ones that did made it all worth it. I found when I re-listened to it I would just skip the topics that were not relevant for me.
For anyone who is new to this world of online business, this is a great place to start and I got a lot out of it thanks. A bit repetitive as he will often give you a bit of information on a topic then come back to it a few times with a slightly expanded version. Overall worth the money!
This is one of the best marketing books I have read/listened too.
It inspired me, and gave me a lot of ideas for future development.
The best chapters was social media and e-mail marketing. We learn that it is not worth spending all of our money on facebook ads, even if we should be present on social media. E-mail marketing and building a solid customerbase, was the chapter that gave me the most inspiration.
There is an extensive namedropping on services that you can use for different marketing strategies in this book, so if you like me bought the audio version, be ready to write down the ones that applies to your business.
Seriously this book blew me away so much that I also purchased the printed version. Each chapter is only a few pages long and focuses on only one thing. Every single business owner should have this book...it's always within reach on my desk because it truly is THAT good!
I liked the title...thats what caught by attention but the author spends WAY too much time tooting his own horn and not enough time PROVIDING TOOLS... is this an autobiography or a book on how to market for free? Get to the point..the entire introduction and preface are already filled with accolades and examples of success..But so is part 1... Okay we get it..you know your stuff..now TELL us the stuff. -Im returning this book.
I became a hardcore fan of Jim Cockrum. I started applying and I am seeing results in my almost 1 man show consulting business. The presentation is very simple. I bought the paperback as well for the reference. I cannot ignore the pleasant voice of Sean Pratt made the ride extremely wonderful. Thank you Jim.....

No, but I like it very much, is an excellent narrator.
I set more bookmarks in this book than I have ever set before! There were so many golden nuggets and so many useful links, that I was more than satisfied within the first few chapters. I plan on listening to it again and again.
Jim has a few good points here, but in the methods he presents are a bit to cold and unpersonal. I'm sure this will appeal to some but even if I could make some money from this, I'm pretty sure I would go for something else.
