This guy has it right. Seriously worth the listen. I was thoroughly impressed with how he brought everything he said to the table in a down to earth kind of way!
The advice is all things you have heard before. Illustrated with quaint stories about how we should be more like kids.
In the end, he says we need to invest in ourselves by paying for a monthly subscription.
The book is more a list of experiences the author had. Not much new about leadership.
If everyone is a leader, then why do you say there are mediocre organizations? I guess you mean that everyone has the potential to become a leader.
Good additive to the already high octane learning I've been getting as a student in the John Maxwell Team Training . This was short and to the point as well as on point.
The program just told me 2 basics things 1)Challenge yourself every single day till your last breath.
2)Never ever ever stop learning or as Steve Jobs said “ Stay Hungry Stay Foolish”
Having hunger of learning & be foolish to become smart.
Thank you Robin & Audible for connecting me with my hearts, Thank You :-)
"Just get on with it!!!"
Someone who loves himself less and actually wants to get to the content
I spent the first 10-15 minutes of this listening to how he has helped so many people and his techniques are used in so many companies - name dropping like he's got Blue Chip Tourette's. I couldn't take it any longer and just turned it off.
This is one of the audiobooks I listen to at least once per year. Just an hour stacked with treasures and insights on leadership.
Get it, listen to it, apply it, listen to it again, apply it more.
"Very informative and sencere"
I like he sincerity of Robin and willingness to share and help other seekers of knowledge and insights..
"Lots of rambling garbage - lack of content"
He spends the first half of this telling you about things he's going to tell you . Very boring . Half an hour of my life I'll never get back
feeling very inspired now to go to work and be a better person.
I cried at the part about the washer woman who gave away her money
Very very inspirational, I've taken an awful lot from it. Has guided me not only in my career but also in my personal life. Thank you
A truly insightful & empowering book. Listening to this makes me want to be the best person I can be.
"Excellent life enhancer"
Easy to listen too and packed with great ideas and life changers, well worth a hour of your time.
"Motivates you 2 b... like in a title"
not scientific, not unique, not revolutionary. though, you will listen from the very first minute to the last one, you will enjoy motivational speaker style, you may finally reflect and do right changes. it can be your important small step forward or mental revolution. worth to take a risk and test yourself.
"Excellent for self motivation"
Excellent book for self development, really liked the presentation, it's always enjoyable to listen to Robin Sharma
