The world's most respected leadership expert gives five principles and five practices for breaking the invisible barrier to leadership and personal success.
You have a good idea but can't convince your peers of its merit. You crafted a groundbreaking strategy, but the team trudges on in the same old way. Certain people move forward in their career, while you seem to be stuck. If this describes you or someone you know, the problem is not the quality of what you have to offer. The problem is how you connect with people to create the results you desire.
In Everyone Communicates, Few Connect, John Maxwell takes readers through the Five Connecting Principles and the Five Connecting Practices of top-notch achievers. He believes that a person's ability to create change and results in any organization - be it a company, church, nonprofit, or even a family - is directly tied to the ability to use the teachings of this book.

This book met my expectations. John Maxwell has really good communication points. The book helped me to understand that connecting is not about me.
I always loved the quote which he used in this book that "people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care." Another interesting statement was that connecting and becoming a good communicator is skill and not a natural ability. He used Moses as an example.
This is a book that I will listen to again.
It could be complete. I downloaded this because I am an auditory learner and I was taking a class that required this book. I was missing important information. Shame on you Mr. Maxwell.
Whether in business or person life Maxwell so eloquently lines out points with simplicity and clarity yet depth.
Great and easy read. Full of wise quotes.
I've enjoyed all the books I've read by John Maxwell but his #audible book "Everyone Communicates, Few Connect" has become my new favorite. Each page has a simple practice to effectively #connect with others that can be easily applied moments after learning it. I also enjoyed John's insight into the communicators responsibility to know and engage his/her audience. I look forward to sharing this book with those work and serve with.

Narrator sounds very good and contents of the books is so meaning full easy to applly
It has huge effect on my personal life and I have few friends who I believe will be benefited.
I've listened to this book over and over. Also read the print version. That's how essential this message is to our interactions one-on-one, in a group, or with a large audience. Like faith is what makes our hopes obtainable; connecting is what makes effective communication and great leadership obtainable.
Stories mire than slides, people will remember your life stories more than they will remember the slides you find from someone else's photo album. This is a great book to help those that what to get better at changing lives! Enjoy!
I just love the way he talks. He does put the cookie jar down on the lower shelf, and I suppose I am getting fat with knowledge.
The descriptions and lessons on how to better connect with people around us to make our communications effective are well played. They stand on integrity and honor, admitting mistakes, not trying to be perfect or to mislead your team into your own delusional ideas that they don't know any better that you're not being forthright. The continuing theme in all his books are to be someone worth being, worth listening to, and worth following.
I am a great fan, and am greater with every book of his in my mental arsenal.
"easy to understand and apply"
