"Few people have done more to inspire an entrepreneur revolution and give entrepreneurs the tools and advice they need to grow their businesses in recent years than Dan. What I love about what he says and what he writes is that it all comes from a deep personal experience of bootstrapping a successful global small business himself from little more than a maxed out credit card." (Mike Harris, Founder of FirstDirect and Egg PLC, author of Find Your Lightbulb)
"Daniel’s book is a brilliant resource to help entrepreneurs ‘find their place’ and live the ‘entrepreneur revolution dream’." (Alistair Lukies, CEO of Monitise)
"Daniel Priestley’s book Entrepreneur Revolution perfectly teaches how to adopt an enterprising, street-smart mindset that produces results. His own failures, like mine, have taught him valuable and practical down-to-earth lessons which any aspiring leaders can learn from and will enjoy trying and applying themselves." (Lara Morgan, Founder of Pacific Direct)
"Daniel Priestley is one of a kind. Having worked with him for many years now, I can clearly see his unique ability to intuitively identify a collective need and provide a completely innovative solution, always at the right time and in the right place." (Andrew Griffiths, Australia’s number-one small-business author)
"This book will totally change the way you think about growing a business. An absolute must read that should be in the hands of more people." (Jeremy Harbour, author of Go Do!)
There were a couple moments that I feel certainly changed me, which is a lot to gain from a five hour audiobook. I am no stranger to researching entrepreneurship, and I honestly expected a lot of the same things I have heard in other books. I was pleasantly surprised to find some of my ideas challenged. This book will motivate you, if he was selling something I would have bought it! I also enjoyed some of the thought challenges and activities presented in the book.
Motivation is great, but what about take away? I'll be honest, towards the mid-end I lost a little drive. I get frustrated trying to decide how to filter, find, and develop ideas. The ending was crazy powerful to me however, and I now want to listen again. Especially chapter 7.
I read these books expecting to both become inspired and leave with actions I can take to making my dreams a reality. 5/5 for motivation and purpose, this book has it. From a practical sense, I felt somewhat like the advice was geared more towards his marketing background than other business ideas. There will never be a step by step guide to creation, because your business and life is untrodden ground.
Bottom line is its worth 5 hours of your life, and I look forward to more listens and gems of knowledge gained. Thank you Daniel!
Absolutely. It is a wonderful book, especially to anyone who is thinking of becoming an entrepreneur. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I am currently listening to it for the 2nd time, some parts i've heard about 7 times.
Haven't read any books that compare yet.
Excellent reading by Glen McCready.
I think the title is perfect, gripping: Entrepreneur Revolution, sounds like Atlas Shrugged.
I am directing a Municipal Entrepreneurship Center in a developing country. Needless to say, the challenges we are facing are huge, but so are the opportunities. I am also a mentor for this center, and I have to admit sometimes I run out of ideas. That is until I downloaded this audiobook. It is completely filled with valuable tips, strategies and insights that I have found very helpful. From the "product ecosystem" to the "7 maxims" that every entrepreneur should follow, I enjoyed every second. I absolutely recommend it for anyone who is thinking about joining the entrepreneur revolution.
Yes. It was filled with so many insights and valuable pieces of information that it will take more than one sitting to fully digest!
"Stop reading other peoples books and writ your own!"
Clear and matter of fact.
Yes. Had to space it over two days though..
Highly recommend this book for everyone. It opens a vision of an abundant life possible to those willing to put the effort in, and with access to a little luck..
A very insightful and practical book that has changed the way I view my business and the opportunities that our global market has... A must read for anyone at any stage of business to thrive in the new economy. It has helped me focus on the joy of creating and not consuming, plus given me a strategic road map to bring greater value to my clients and profit to my bottom line. Thanks Daniel!
This is "must reading" for anyone who is interested in starting their own small business. I highly recommend it!
I've listened to this book 4 times now and I am still learning and picking up new jewels! I love all of Daniels books, have found them so valuable for my professional development and look forward to more of his work!

this is a really fabulous book that has the ability to open up your mind and change the way you think a bit. I'm going in for my second listen now , good luck!
I just listened the first time and going to hit play again. Validated I'm doing the right thing and that I have the traits / mindset of an entrepreneur.
just finished this book, this book is:
rigth to the point,
up to date,
money well spent.
whoever want or start becoming enterpreneur should start reading(listening) this book.
it will help you to understand the art of enterpreneur.
Easy reading/listening. Very succinct and to the point. Relates to all ages. Use especially as a tool to help generate thought processes and ideas.
"Not for me"
I enjoyed the opening few chapters which were positive and full of enthusiasm but I'm afraid once the book got practical, it lost me. I realised pretty quickly that I'm not an "entrepreneur" in the sense of this book, even though I've set up and run 4 successful businesses in the past decade. I have no desire to create a global business or to have great wealth. My businesses are there to support my way of life.
The idea of walking around with £1,000 in my pocket just so I can refuse to buy things I could get with that wad of cash is, for me, totally ludicrous. The idea of making 3 calls randomly, inviting a stranger to lunch etc etc. Nope. Even more crazy is the contention that I need to price my core product at £1,000+. I sell craft kits. Lots of them. But none cost a grand.
By the terms of this book, I'm an abject failure. Fortunately for me, I'm a happy one.
The narration is pretty good - nice to have an English accent for a change. He does sound a little like C3PO when played at 1.5x speed.
"I really love the book"
book is really nice. I specially love the ascending value model and excellent reference for developing products and services for your company.
"Inspiring Reality Check"
I think this is a brilliant wake-up call book to help any budding entrepreneur to embrace their next adventure. It provides useful tips, knowledge and most importantly, the encouragement to take the next step.
A great read.
I am a man in midlife crisis. Constant feeling of no purpose and adding value in my job despite a excellent salary. Book has given me a lot of confidence to take preliminary steps towards alternative lifestyle. Very practical suggestions to succeeding in own business. Feel lucky to have stumbled upon this book.

"Always enjoy this book, very inspirational"
I always love Daniel's friendly writing style, anecdotes and outside of the box thinking. It's inspired me to change much about the way I work and run my business. Thoroughly enjoyable to listen to. If you're into self help and entrepreneurship this book is one of the best.
"A great Book with lots of ideas!"
I really enjoyed this book as it also gave me ideas what to do in my new business. The ideas were easy to implement and gave me valuable insight into ATM.
I recommend reading it.
"Insightful will have your mind ticking with ideas"
Enjoyed this book as it contained practical steps you could take now and contained true to life examples that were relatable.
If you're stuck in a 9-5 and and are screaming to get out this book will turn your desire into desperation whilst giving you practical clues to what you can put in place now. I'll definitely be listening to it again.
"Training for Entrepreneurs and Training for Life!"
Inspirational, clear and must to read.
This is an amazing book. I would recommend this book to whoever want to start a business and for “normal” people as well. Because “normal” people is “everyone”. Everyone has the desire of being producers but are worried about everything possible and impossible which can happen. We need to let it go our fears from 1.000.000 years ago when we were in the jungle driven by our reptile brains!!
