No, A few chapters were skipping. If they can fix that then absolutely!
Yes, I listened to E-Myth Revisited. I was very impressed with that book. This one was very similar but got into more detail into real estate investing.
Not sure if it was my device or what, but Than Merrill's chapters kept skipping without advancing the playhead. It looked like it was the file itself, not the software. Very dissappointed as I loved the content of the book.
This book gives a great overview for the real estate investor. It tells you which type of people you need to create your real estate team and why. It also gives you a generalized view of how to build your business. It does not explain how to determine a good or bad deal, what factors are important in the market, or things specific to a real estate transaction. It's pretty much a long winded book of who to use on your team and why. If you are looking for how to invest in real estate, this isn't the book. But, use this book to complement other resources.

If you've read the E-Myth you won't get anything new from this. Same stories from Gerber. I thought I wasn't going to like Than because he sounds like a used car salesman but he wasn't bad.
I had hoped for more specific application to real estate investing, the nuts and bolts kind of thing. In that way the book was disappointing... but if you've never read the original e-myth, you really need to and this book seems a good substitute for Real Estate Investors.
I read the real estate rehab bible by Paul Esajian and I loved it. While I liked this book, I feel the authors were promoting a bit too much. In Paul's other book, he gave free resources and while he mentioned his company, he wasn't so blunt to advertise. Nonetheless, I got some good ideas to apply in my business plan and recommend for anyone that is planning on starting a business in real estate to listen to this book.
The content is great and made me think about new ways to run my business.
Michael Gerber sounds like he smoked 10 packs a day and was gasping for breath. I had to play his parts at 2x speed to get through it - very distracting. Because of his voice, I cannot listen to another book by him. Sorry Michael, please hire a professional voice actor.
Could not finish this book after two attempts. Michael Gerber's voice is painful to listen to! I even tried speeding up the recording by 30%, which didn't help either. Both attempts, I bailed after the first 15 minutes...
Luckily, a friend of mine had the print edition, which I read instead. With the exception of the Performance rating, my Overall and Story ratings reflect my ratings from the print edition.
