In Developing Lean Leaders at all Levels we build on the theory in the original book, The Toyota Way to Lean Leadership, and answer the questions: How can I apply this in my organization? What concrete actions can I take to begin the journey of becoming a lean leader? How can I spread this learning to all parts of the organization? What critical tools are needed to turn the theory to practice? This book adds examples from over twenty years of experience by Dr. Liker in working with companies outside of Toyota. This audiobook treats you as a student who will be actively engaged in developing lean leader skills as you read. It acts as a tutorial for beginning the journey!

The content of the book is pretty decent, but the narration was the worst I have ever heard. Another review compared it to the computer generated audio of a 1980s computer. I think that is a pretty good description. Siri or Cortana would have sounded much more human than this actual human narrator.
I had my friend who is a musician listen to the audio to tell me if he knew why it sounded so bad. He guessed that the audio had been run through some sort of pitch correcting software which had the effect of making the human narrator sound like a really bad computer generated narration.
Rerecord the book and let Siri read it...
Very high level covering many topics. Not enough details in any given topic to apply without further research or hiring a consultant. It would be a good book to help formulate a vision for a company just starting their Lean Journey,
I never saw the holes in the organizational leadership in my company until reading this book and now I feel like I have a simple path to help my organization at achieves its mission
Yes, It's a stept by step aproach to leadership and I find it encouraging to go againg over it as I progress on the steps
Cuold be good to listen all in one sitting, but you will have to go againg over it to get the details and translate it into you own action plan
reading a 2nd time with my direct reports, and later, with a mentee!
Most accurate and complete work I've ever read on Lean in 27 years!
I like Jeffrey Liker, but this book did not deliver. The content was OK but it was not a guide on how to, and it wasn't enlightening with information not found elsewhere. The narration was so bland it sounded like a 1980's computer.
The overall content of this book is really good. It adds more details and approaches to previous book from Jeffrey Liker like Toyota Way to Lean Leadership.
I would have given this audio book five stars if it wasn't for the very machine like voice of the narrator. The narrator speaks in a very slow and monotone way. Very annoying.
"weak n repeatitive"
weak n repeatitive. very weak. he just repeats his old stuff... Nothing new. Wasted money...
