Brian Tracy shares the most important principal for sales success he has discovered in 30 years of training more than 500,000 sales professionals in 23 countries.
Based on his detailed discussions with top salespeople and keen observations of their methods, these guidelines address both the inner and outer games of selling. Each chapter is dedicated to one principle, and all are time - and field - tested to boost sales and success.
Among them are Act as If It Were Impossible to Fail; Dedicate Yourself to Continuous Learning; Position Yourself as a Financial Improvement Specialist; Make Every Minute Count; Apply the 80/20 Rule to Everything; and Know How to Close the Sale.

That line turned me off immediately. As an entrepreneur who quit his full-time corporate job to build a start up, the "Get in line, Stay in line" philosophy does not fit my situation and borders on offensive. I know people that have spent their whole careers "in line" just to have the rug pulled out from under them. Patience and blind loyalty to an employer may have been good career advice 20 years ago, but not today. If you are a sales manager who feels threatened by innovation and you just want to keep your troops from stepping out of line, you will probably love this book.
His sales advice was practical, effective, and believable
The action challenges he gave at the end of each chapter
The performance could have been a little more animated or colorful
When he talked about how slight changes increased his income by 10 times
I encourage all beginning and experienced sales people to listen
Brian Tracy gives you an overwhelming amount of great idea in this book. They all come with drills and instructions on how to implement it in your work day. Excellent! Even though you might have heard some of the principles before, it's still information of high value - and repetition is key to all learning.
One of his books will suffice. Buying two I noticed that the same content is repeated again that is also in his others. He does not provide enough new information to justify the second purchase it's almost like a scheme on his part just changing alil here and there to claim it's another great learning experience when it's the same information placed at diff points in the chapters.
If you are into sales this one book is a must, It is the basic you need to know to achieve your sales GOALS. It will change your life and improve your sales.
Customer wanted to know how he can pay me.
The content is amazing, worth every penny.
The entire audio just moved me, I am a Sales Guy everything makes sense.
Simply Awesome !
I prefer Tracy in his live sessions. He seems to loose his inspirational edge when reading from his notes. Also much of the same topics as in his other books. Much of the story is based on common sense, but it helps to hear it anyway.
This book was short, sweet, and to the point. I listen to and read books all the time but this one basically teaches you everything that the other sales books do, but in a very efficient amount of time! I highly suggest!
Was read too casual... Like school lecture meaning same tone was the same the entire time. Would not recommend to first time listeners. However, information is very useful and I believe very accurate.
