Number-one Amazon best seller: Get projects done quickly and add value immediately through agile project management
Agile project management is simply shifting the world of project management at its core, and there's a reason why. With an approach to projects that is quite different from the traditional waterfall methodology, agile project management focuses on adding value fast while staying on track to achieve a defined business goal. Completing projects in small chunks, piece by piece, allows project stakeholders to implement deliverables much faster than waiting for all phases of the project to be completed as well as allowing for modifications to project items based on changing needs.
Often overlooked as a project management style that is only for IT-related projects, agile methodology can be utilized to complete projects across any industry, including company reorganization, improving upon or redefining business processes, and simply any project that has short production and implementation times.
In order to take full advantage of the numerous added benefits of utilizing agile methodology in projects, you must understand the philosophy behind the strategies. In this book I will teach you everything you need to know about Agile project management so you can comfortably and confidently deploy the techniques and strategies in your projects. I'll take you step by step through the phases of an agile project, how to schedule iterations during your project, and how to win over project stakeholders with this progressive methodology.
Broken down into simple, easy-to-understand concepts, this book will become your agile project management Bible that will take you from understanding the concepts to learning how to deploy successfully to complete awesome projects.

If it has letters strung into words that form a story which draws me in, I won't be able to resist it. Is there a reader's anonymous?
This is an introductory book giving a general overview of Agile management so if you have already studied agile them this will be too basic. For the beginner, it is concise and practical, and the information presented was easy to follow. I would recommend this to starters and beginners in agile management.
The quality of the audiobook was good. It’s a reference book, so not much excitement or story really for the narrator to do different voices or anything, but he has a clear voice and pronunciation which is what is important. A few times I missed something while listening, but it was easy enough to backup and find my place. I find with audiobook reference or learning books especially it is easier to tell when I glossed over something, and it’s easy enough to back up.
This audiobook was provided to me for the purpose of an honest review.
A very good and short quick start for Agile. What really let me buy this book and read it the drawback chapter about Agile. This was totally new to me.
Disclaimer: I received a copy of this book for free.
This book very much only scratches the surface. There are few insights in here, and it's really not more than someone reading the Agile website. It's filled with lots of pointless lists and really doesn't dive deep into any topics with any serious depth. If you truly had no idea what Agile was or where to start and you couldn't be bothered to open an internet browser, this book might be useful. But beyond someone who literally despises reading, this book is a waste of time. The case studies aren't even fully or usefully presented.
On the other hand, the reader was very hearable, even at a high speed. He has enough variety in voice that I could pay attention to him.
This book is appropriately titled. If you are a seasoned veteran in PM and agile environments, then this is not for you. If you are beginner however, this is a good place to start for a nominal price (both in terms of cost of the book, as well as how long you need to invest to listen to this). You will definitely need to read more literature on the methodology after this book, but at the very least you will have a great general idea of Agile before doing so.
Aside from beginners, I think this book is actually perfect for those who are about to interview for a job that requires them to be somewhat familiar with the concept of agile. It's a quick listen, includes key terminology, as well as key processes.
Full Disclosure: I received this product for free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
Yes. This was a good audiobook with some good information. The narrator was easy to listen to and the information flowed smoothly. I will keep this one as a good reference item. Enjoyed how you could jump from chapter to chapter, or go back to the start of a particular chapter to re-listen to it.
I received this book at a discount for my honest review.
