In this book I'll show you how to leverage 3D printing to start your own six-figure business from the comfort of your own home! There are tons of businesses you can start on your own, and many of them you can operate from home, but none are as easy as starting a 3D printing business.
I don't know how else to put this - all you need is a computer and some good ideas and you can be manufacturing and distributing your products across the world, all from your living room! Starting your own business can be a daunting task and quite overwhelming, especially when it involves a new technology such as 3D printing. My goal is to remove any hesitation you might have that is stopping you from pulling the trigger. I'll teach you everything you need to know and I'll walk you though, step-by-step the process of starting your own business.

Amateur narrator and avid audio book enthusiast!
I very much enjoyed listening to this overview of the 3D printing business. It is, as you would expect from a book this short, a high level overview, but there is still enough detail to get someone started. I also felt that the book struck the appropriate balance between optimistic opportunities that the 3D printing market presents and the realistic challenges that need to be faced.
Lucy's narration was professional and enjoyable and delivered in a way that kept the material fresh and interesting.
This book was provided to me at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review.
I love books! Big books, little books. Funny books, paranormal books! I really just want to live in a library!
This is a very new technology that people are just now getting started with. Many people are very interested in the 3D printing but making it into a business is just so intelligent. I was thinking about looking into it a little more for my youngest son. I thought he might enjoy starting his own business like this.
I wouldn't. I love that the ClydeBank Business people having been putting these books together and getting the information out there for people. This is the 3rd one I've listened to so far. I have learned a great deal of information from them. The book left me with allot of food for thought. I have a teenage son that is less than 2 years away from graduating. I thought that this might be a business idea that he would enjoy getting involved with.
Lucy is a very easy to listen to narrator. She has a very pleasant voice and is very easy to understand.
The reaction that I had was that is a great idea. I think that a person could make a good business out of 3D printing.

The whole idea of 3D printing is very interesting
it covered lot of innovative ideas
My first read on 3D printing. The book contains lot of innovative ideas and lot of details for a novice like me. I cannot comment on how useful it will be for someone who already know what 3D printing is.
I received this product for free in exchange of my honest, unbiased review
Everything is explained clearly
It exposes you to new information, but doesn't cover enough on the subject to be considered in-depth. The information that is provided, is very helpful, however.
I enjoyed being able to listen to this versus reading through it - since I could learn the information during my daily commute, versus spending additional time.
I never realized that the technology for 3D printing had been around for such a long time.
I found that there was good information for someone in the early stages of wanting to do a 3D printing business without a lot of past experience. This book goes through a lot of how 3D printing works, for novice users who've never used one before.
At the high school where I work, students can actually take a technical design class, and many of their projects deal with creating 3D designs and then printing them. They are very familiar with 3D printing and would suggest to them perhaps learning how to write a business plan over this book.
I like that the written PDF has pictures / illustrations that you can refer to, as mentioned in the audible format.
it shows how you can really utilize everyday easy to get things
3d printing for dummies
the oone that was her right hand
not really all the same
Yes, it does give a good overview of 3d printing and how it has come around in recent years.
I do like that it encompasses many aspects of 3d printing - history, viability, options rather than directions and more.
While well spoken, Lucy Vest did not bring much to the story other than an British accent which can be a little difficult to understand here and there.
I did intend on listening to this book in a couple of sittings and I think that's the best way to listen to this. By listening in more than one session you are given an opportunity to absorb information in batches so you don't get overwhelmed by all of the information.
Although much detail is given throughout the book, it is not a book for beginners if they think this will teach them how to use 3d printers. This is more of a general overview with some detail but not intricate instruction. The book does allow for entrepreneurs to evaluate what is best for their products and adapt the methods to their needs. It is overall a good starting guide for anyone who has been slightly acquainted with 3d printing. I did received a discount for my honest and unbiased review. #clydebank3dprinting
This audiobook provides a comprehensive overview of 3D printing, and it has just enough to get you started. After listening you’ll be able to start your own 3D printing business, and you’ll be prepared for the challenges that are inevitable. What you will take away, though, is the awareness and knowledge of the need for proper planning, a good business plan, and market research.
Excellent information! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to start a 3D printing business. As usual, good narration by Lucy West. I’m accustomed to the British accent, so it worked for me.
