On of the best

I am currently getting ready for the interview and I finished already several books. This one is a winner in my book. Ron Fry gives very specific recommendations to questions I was asked multiple times on interviews in the past. I have plenty interviews in my life, but somehow I would forget almost immediately after interview most of the questions that made me feel uncomfortable because I was not prepared to answer them ahead of time. Somehow I simply put them out of my mind - be what will be, I didn't want to dwell on my failure. Ron did a fantastic job refreshing my memory for exactly those questions I never was ready for. I think I simply did not think about them as important. For example: "Tell me about yourself?" I can't believe I always failed to make the best of it.

Perfect to get you ready!

What made the experience of listening to 101 Great Answers to the Toughest Interview Questions the most enjoyable?

I turned up the playback speed to 1.5 as it was going a little slow for me, but I still enjoyed listening to it. It has some amazing tips to help you prepare answers for some questions I normally get hung up on. Use the tips!! I used them in my interviews for one company (all three of them) and I was soon filling out employement forms!

Any additional comments?

I could stand in front of thousands of people and give a speech, but don't put me in an interview and expect me to talk. This changed that. I went into my interviews much more comfortable and had some great answers ready! Buy this book if you want to get the job!

Great cram session for an interview!

Facing numerous tough interviews in one week, I picked up this audio book to see if I had left any stones unturned.
This was a great read. The narrator reads really well and doesn't bore you. And it doesn't sound like list being read to you. Of course most of it is obvious, but you need to HEAR it, especially right before the interview. (I read it about 2 days before my interviews started).
I remember sitting in the interview and hearing the answers.
I accepted offers for all the positions that I applied for.
LISTEN TO THIS BOOK. It does help.

Great refresher; still relevant!

It's been a while since I interviewed and this book helped me to better prepare. Worth the time. Highly recommend.

Mostly catered for business

Short, sweet and to the point. Hi, it's largely from the perspective of someone going into a job involving business in some vertical aspect. From the retail worker, to sales, to management, it'll help with that. But for something medical or technical, it may not be as useful. Still worth the time if you have the interest though.

Listen to this before every interview

I will echo the previous reviewers, and say that this really helped me answer the "tell me about yourself". It is also fantastic in getting you hyped up with the right tone for the interview. I used this before going through a several-week round of interviews, and I re-listened to it about once a week. Even though, yes, it is somewhat basic information that you may already intuitively know, the recording forces you to focus. I have listened to several other of these type of books, and this was my hands down favorite.

Excellent book

This is the kind of book you should hear multiple times because it is such valuable advice. It is well written, interesting, and neither too long nor too short. It includes self-assessment tips that are critical.

Up to date tips

The information is current and reflects the interview styles that I've been a part of recently. The author gives specific answers to tough questions while also giving you food for thought on basic things like "tell me about yourself". You'll learn what they really want to know and what to leave out. He also reminds the listener what the interviewer cannot legally ask but can use if you bring it up. There are tips on what to say to politely move around direct questions about your race, religion and other personal questions that should not be on the table. Overall, this is worth listening to.

Great for Beginners and Veterans alike

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Absolutely. Training is about dedication and repetition. I thought I knew most of the subject of this book, but it was great to hear it again, especially from The Master! This guy knows his stuff.

Which character – as performed by Ron Fry – was your favorite?

Ron Fry is a GREAT narrator!

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Yes.

Any additional comments?

If you think you know it all, you don't. Like Ron Fry says, confidence is awesome until it makes you lazy.

Pretty basic

This book covers pretty basic information. I did not find it very useful. Maybe if you are preparing for your first job interview ever this might be helpful.
