Realistic dragons and magic
I do like fantasy that has some logic behind the rules they set, so that gets points from me. Story alone was a bit slow-ish and I did not enjoy that much juggling of 2 separated stories all the time, but in general.. Yep worth listening to and I'm grabbing next episode for sure.

Great book in a great series
This is a great book in a great series, and I have really enjoyed it - Well written; great female narrator; good story arc over a long series of separate books. I definitely recommend all of these books, but this one especially is a great story with set up with many new plot points which develop more in the next books.

Great follow up
At this rate I can see this series going on forever with the 31 other worlds and potential for a longevity concoction. However the archaeologist was never my favorite character and is starting to become annoying. There are still so many loose ends, like the dragon eggs, Druids, Jack's fate, the Etchers, etc. I look forward to more.

Excellent character building by the author.
Having read and listened to many different books from this author. She has masterfully lured me in with this one. I can’t put it down. Often going back over chapters to make sure I don’t miss what is happening in the lives of the “secondary” characters. Often they can be skimmed but you want to get to throughly know them all, because they will surprise you before you know what’s happened. Keep the surprises coming.

I love everything about this series. The characters, the intertwined plot lines, the action and adventure, but mostly for the DRAGONS. The performance is excellent and I am enjoying it so very much. I hope we don't have to wait for the next volume for very long. (I don't have much patience these days.)
