I'm so happy i saved this book for a rainy day, and it has legit been raining for daaays. it's been a couple months since i re-listened to all the Lex and Scarlett books, and at the time, i needed a bit of a change. so i saved it and hearing it now, i remembered how much i love Scarlett and Everyone and what an amazing job Amy McFadden does at bringing them all to great life!
i only wish for more more more! I will never get enough of the Old World, or of everyone in it!
if you're reading this Ms Olson, plzplzplz do us all a favour and give us more Scarlett Bernard! Cruz? um, Yes!!!

Missed this series!

I've always loved Scarlett and her world, so I'm so glad to be back in it again with this book. I also love Amy McFadden. She makes Scarlett and her sarcasm very believable. I really hope I won't have to wait so long for another book in this series! :)

Another Great Book

Loved it!! Another great book by Melissa. I love this whole series and can't wait for the next one.

what a great way to wrap up some details, and at the same time introduce new characters that I really want to get to know.

I love this series, great author, great storytelling, and a wonderful reader. I re-listen to this whole series at least once per year...wish there were more of them!

Entertaining

Interesting story with a mystery to solve. Annie will likely turn into an incredible paranormal though give Scarlet and team a few heart attacks along the way. The narrator did a good job with providing unique voices for each character and appropriate tone inflections for each scene.

Mom 🧠

Good story premise, but diary style effects the flow, and it does somewhat detract. Author is great though, so if one has not already been spoiled by her other books, this one won't seem "less spectacular". There IS still an unfolding storyline that holds interest, AND it offers some accurate insights into how motherhood REALLY DOES effect some moms lives personally, professionally, and often unpredictably!

Born Magic is different from the other books in this series but it's just as entertaining. I look forward to the next book in this series.

Yet another fun session with Scarlett.

I have flown through this series and not only do I positively adore Melissa's style of writing, but Amy McFadden has hands down become one of my favorite narrators. Her reading and Olson's writing mesh so wonderfully together!

I loved it! it was so cool to see what's going on with Scarlett now. The Narrator was really good!.
I really hope we get more Scarlett books some day. I love The Old World and all the characters in it.
I will eagerly devour any other book if they came out!
