Powerful!

I wanted to understand what all the hype was about with this book. All of my colleagues recommend it. They were all right! The emotional, spiritual and scientific objectiveness of this book is amazing. It’s a must read!

Amazing!

I wish I could listen to this book for the first time over and over again. Full of knowledge and insight. I highly recommend to any pregnant woman or anyone planning on becoming pregnant.
Also, the narrator is just wonderful. I was so happy to see that she was narrating this book once I downloaded it. Purely fantastic!

Absolutely the best birthing book I've read!

I wish every birthing mother read this before giving birth the first time. I feel so much less afraid and more confident about my upcoming birth and transition into motherhood. 🧡

Informative & Encouraging

I found this book very informative and encouraging as I was preparing for the birth of my first child. If you want to get the most out of Birthing from within, you might want a hard copy to make sure you see the examples of artwork. I missed some completely because I was listening and didnt get to pulling up the pdf.

Birthing from Within—my top birth book!

I loved the reader’s voice, although some terminology was mispronounced, that’s ok. There is some dated information in here that I hope has been updated (re: home birth costs, bottle feeding for “happier baby” are two). However, I love the approach of Birthing from Within. I am an experienced birthworker, childbirth educator, nurse and mother. I think the creative approach to labor and birth is immensely important and so unique. It’s still a top must-read in my opinion.

Must Read!

this book is such a blessing, I feel so much more prepared for the rest of my pregnancy, labor, and motherhood. my husband got a lot out of it too. she takes a wholistic approach to pregnancy and motherhood. I also liked that she gave me the statistics and descriptions of different options to let me make the decision on what's best for me and my baby.

best child birth ed book ever. a very unique approach that appeals in ways where many others failed.

not a book to listen to

this is definitely a book you need to see. every sentence is describing artwork. Without seeing the pictures I had a hard time following.
