Great Book! Easy Listening! Amazing Message! I wish more was read by Phil but it's not to bad with Al. you just forget your listening to Phil's story every once and a while instead of Als.

love this book, love everything from Phil. I too struggled in the early stages of my life with partying and running around like a wild man so every time I ever read anything from Phil it hits on a personal level. keep up the good work

Words not minced

great book! its cut dry and to the point mixed with humor and plenty of love to go around for every one. Ive never watched any of his TV show but the book has definitely perked my interest. its been refreshing to see a man of God in the public eye. i pray he continues on the walk.

Say it like it is!

I really appreciate a genuine book about genuine people with genuine morals. Phil isn't worried about being politically correct and points out how that is one of the biggest issues our country is facing. It seemed 25% of the book consisted of Bible quotes then application on how they need to be implemented in our lives. He spends a lot of time on how we need to turn this country around and step one is for us to fix our own lives with examples from the Bible.

I have already recommended this book to others and it comes up in Bible Class conversations very often. If you want someone to tell you the truth, check it out.

So good I listened in one listen

It was so good I listened to it in one sitting. Phil tells it like it is and tells the truth through love.

Change my mind

Not much of a religious man but preacher Phil has given me a lot to think about. His comparison to the Bible and today's problems are stunning it's given me something to think about and perhaps change my mind and it might change yours worth the chance a good read

Exactly what I needed to hear.

Phil very simply states practical and Biblical truths about society’s sin problems. He delivers the gospel message of hope and salvation using scripture that can easily be investigated and found to be true.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and will be purchasing more of Phil’s works.
