"These quietly inspirational pieces convey her sense of life as an ongoing adventure." (Publishers Weekly)
Brilliant in thought, candor and expression. Hearing Maya Angelou narrate it made me feel like I was hearing from a dear friend, one I wish I had had the pleasure to meet in person.
YES, YES, YES
Well any other of her books
Her voice gives you a clearer and cleaner window into her stories and experiences, it added meat to the already tasty pot.
A woman's map to learning about our simply complicated lives and enjoying every treasure we find along the way
"True To Life"
I feel that Maya Angelous portrayal of her life is both shocking but real and that is a quality many authors lack these days. i feel my mind and my heart melting into her words when i listen to her work. She is a fantasic author, role model and fellow human being whose words should always be treasured.
"Free to live, think and experience wonder.."
This volume by the experienced Grandmother of all is filled with wisdom, grace and beauty for the next generation. I was floored by the sheer rawness of her story yet I loved her softness. Her famous tone wrapped it all in velvet casing of love and concern. I am free to live, think and experience wonder in my unique skin.
