It is amazing to hear Brian read his book. It brings more meaning and understanding! His tone really shows me a story of his life and good faith! Thank you Brain, my eyes are beginning to open more through the walk of life!

This was a fantastic book!

I wanted to listen to an audio book about someone that went through struggles and connected with God. I really, really enjoyed this book. I was impressed with Brian's story, narration, and personality. I would highly recommend this book to anyone that wants to gain another person perspective about the struggles of humanity, however truly puts faith in Jesus to renew us back to home.

Loved it!

I loved this book for its brutal honesty and yet hopeful attitude. It didn't sugarcoat anything, but kept the narrative very real. The writing was well done and well-paced. I never got bored. Brian Welch does an excellent job of bringing you into his life within the rock scene and showing the blessings and curses found there. At once fantastical and relatable, this narrative memoir reveals a man trying and often failing to do his best as a single parent and as a professional musician under difficult circumstances. Highly recommended.

Fantastic book

What a beautiful book. I really enjoyed every second of it and all the little details in it. It has a very positive message and was narrated extremely well. I definitely would recommend and have recommended to my family.

Being broken

Brian,
I can relate to your story so much. It was like you took the words out of my mouth relating to a wild horse that needed to be broken. It almost killed me before I completely surrendered to God. But thankfully I am still here to be a light to others like you. Representing our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus Love to all. I didn't know what to expect from this book, but it was a huge encouragement to me. Thanks Brian for sharing how God has worked in and through your life. As a dad I could relate to the love you have for your daughter. As a screw up I could relate to the mistakes. As a child of God and follower of Jesus I could relate to the hope and faithfulness that only Jesus gives. Thanks for being real in this book. Peace!
