What a BEAUTIFUL book!

This story just captured me! The journey of a woman finding her way. It was beautifully written by the author. I loved the narrator!

How Wild it Was

I have listened to this book on Audible twice and I have read it once. It's a book I always come back to. If you are into the outdoors, have ever done any backpacking, or you're looking for some empowerment, read this book!! I love it.

Inspiring and well-written story

Cheryl Strayed writes with honesty and attention to detail. I enjoyed hearing about all of her Pacific Crest Trail adventures as well as the spiritual transformation that took place inside of her. Not only did this book make me want to go hiking but it reminded me that in life, if you want something, you simply must make it happen. This is what Cheryl did, and I hope to do the same.

The first chapter was heartbreaking and heard to listen through, but the rest of the book was inspiring. Im an advid audiobook listener and Dunne is one of the best ive heard!

Worth spending your credit on.

I devoured this book in three days and I wish it was hundreds of hours longer.

This book was a great listen. I could feel her walking along the trail and was wonderng what was around the next turn.

Great book, didn't like the narration

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

No, I don't think Bernadette did a great job giving emotion. Voices of other characters all sounded the same. When Cheryl wrote that she sang or chirped or shouted or growled, Bernadette still carried the same voice.

Raw and Adventurous

Very Good! I love into the Wild by John Krackauer. This was a great female version. Loved it and can't wait to see the film.
