Would you try another book written by Liat Dichter or narrated by Liat Shnapp?

What was most disappointing about Liat Dichter’s story?

Pretty much everything: the plot, the character development (lack of it), the unnecessary details that add nothing of value, absolutely evertything about this book can be summed up in one word: superficial. However, as a practical guide to facing cancer treatment, this book would actually rate pretty high. Please take it off the "fiction" shelf and move to "guide books" where it would be much more at home.

How could the performance have been better?

First and foremost, correct grammar mistakes (which might be in the original text).
Secondly, remove the musical interludes. Unless you're into 1970s kitch, in which case some Abba would have been fun. This is NOT a 1950s radio drama production.
Silent breaks at the oddest places - are you trying to add dramatic effect? that would actually require some dramatic story development.
Thirdly, the voice and intonation I found rather unpleasant.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

A cringing dislike. The only reason I didn't interrupt before the end is a deal I had made with myself once to read/listen to books through to the end, just in case they might get better. I shall re-negotiate this deal now.

    Any additional comments?

Not worth the expense and raises doubts about any type of quality control Audible might engage related to its offer.
