The narration was great! Never got "sick of listening".

Really enjoyed this book! Was not a big Gator fan or follower during his time at Florida, but I heard Tebow speak at an event and wanted to hear more about his story. As a new mom to a son, I really enjoyed hearing about how his parents raised and the decisions he made on and off the field. There is a lot of football play by play in this book. Even though I didn't follow him when he was playing I love football and didn't mind this portion. Love the religious passages, but not so much that it is preaching. I found this really thought provoking as a mom whose son my play football/sports and what that entails. Great read on a wonderful person! You don't have to be a Gator fan to enjoy the book!

great author and good story.

Tim is a great man and has done a lot in his life already. He will continue to do great things. Love his faith!

enjoyable

the book was definitely enjoyable and you get to see how Tim Tebow became Tim Tebow. it's and inspiring journey of faith and perseverance. while it's a good book, his second one is even better! the most memorable part of this story for me is the story of his dog. a story of how he should have died but fought to live and got stronger and stronger every day... much like Tim. I enjoyed the narrator as he was pleasant to have in my ear all day. what a great story!

Inspiring

Tim Tebow is truly an inspiring person. He not only talks the he walks it. Interesting story great preference well worth a listen.

Unless you’re a diehard fan rent this book!

Being a Gator Fan, and along with it a fan of Tim Tebow, I was very interested in reading his book. I still believe that he is a great role model, but my opinions of him have greatly changed after hearing this book. The beginning of the book was hard to stomach with how poorly it was written. It did however improve throughout the book. The book was noting what I expected, which I guess I had no real expectations to begin with. It had a lot of play by play which kept it interesting, but the fashion in which the book was written, how descriptive Tim was in relation to his achievements, made him come across quite cocky in my opinion. The book jumped around a lot from one topic to the next, there was no real timeline, more like rambling as he remembered what he wanted to say, or had forgotten to say earlier. The narrator in the beginning didn’t seem to be a good fit and took some time to get used to, but he did a good job. All in all I stand by my headline. Unless you’re a diehard fan check this book out from your library!

this would be a great book for someone that is young and impressionable. Athletes are looked up to by our youth and this books illustrates how humble some can be and that thwy are really just like you and I

Tim Tebow is an incredible person, on and off the field. This book tought me how to pray. and not be upset about unanswered prayers.

I would recommend this book to anyone that is interested in any one or more of the following topics: relationships, charity, serving, helping people, missions, orphans, sports, homeschooling, football, faith, perseverance, leadership, baseball, family, overcoming, celebrities, or someone just looking for a good, true story.

What did you like best about this story?

The best thing about this book is that it is literally told through the perspective of Tim Tebow, and you feel like you are experiencing what he experienced because he explains things in vivid detail.

What does Tom Wayland bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

While the reader, Tom Wayland, wasn't my favorite, I think he did a great job of bringing personality and emotion to Tim Tebow's words. Sometimes Wayland was a little too fake sounding, as he overemphasized things a lot. But I think his young and excited tone was a good match for Tebow's personality and voice.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

If I could have listened to it all at once, I would have, but with work and stuff I split it up into 30 minute segments and finished it in a few days. Tebow does a great job of telling real life stories in a really engaging way.

Any additional comments?

Before this book, I had heard of Tim Tebow, and knew he played football and was an outspoken Christian. But now, I feel like I could walk up to him and have a conversation about his life. The stories in this book are incredibly inspiring. All the records he set in football are unbelievable, and the fact that he lives out the moral lifestyle he preaches is probably even more impressive, especially in a time when sports players are such terrible role models off the field.

I am enspired

Tim Tebow is a perfect example of what hard work and dedication will do. He is an awesome example for kids and adults to follow. The book is a fun and very inspiring, I highly recommend it.
