Publisher's summary

When one of her college boyfriends ended up becoming a movie star, Anna David became fixated on finding another famous boyfriend. But jobs at celebrity magazines and intimate encounters with boldfaced names ultimately left her clear that no red carpet embrace or award show acknowledgment would bring her what she was ultimately seeking.

The novelist, memoirist, and author of the best-selling Kindle Single Animal Attraction examines our society's relationship with fame from one of its most obsessive perspectives: her own.

Inside the mind of a groupie!!

I really like this book, not for the sake of the story. To be honest I thought the story was a bit bland, I like this book because it allows you to peek inside the mind of a groupie. Also it shows you what some people are thinking when they sacrifice their dignity and self-respect for a taste of fame by association.
Lastly, the most important thing I learned from this book is to make sure I know exactly why the people in my life are around me and to take great care to diagnose what their motives are!!!

P.S. I'm not famous by any means, but I do know that there are users at every level of life.

Amazing

I got lost in it and hated it was over! Even though I am not part of that world, there was so much about this that is universal.

Witty, fun book.

Narrated by the author, this book gives insight into another world unimaginable, yet remarkably very similar to stories of everyday people in relationships, just wanting to be seen.
