The star of TLC's Long Island Medium shares her extraordinary gift and reveals how she helps people who have lost loved ones find peace, closure, and healing.
In her highly anticipated new book, brassy and beloved medium Theresa Caputo, star of the hit television show Long Island Medium, opens the door to her world and invites us to experience her exceptional gift of communicating with those who've crossed over to The Other Side. The always funny, frank, and down-to-earth medium began communicating with Spirit at the age of four, but didn't fully accept her gift until she was 33 years old. She had a good life as a busy wife and mom, but also suffered from chronic anxiety that came from ignoring her unique abilities. Once Theresa began channeling, she discovered that she felt much better after delivering a message from Spirit and releasing that energy. Since then she's used her extraordinary gift to help countless people heal from the loss of their loved ones.
Theresa makes us all aware that there is more to life than what we see here in the physical world. She wants you to know that our deceased loved ones are safe and at peace assisting us from The Other Side. She also wants you to realize that the unexplainable things you sense and feel from these souls are real, and that it's healthy and essential to acknowledge them.
There's More to Life than This explains how Theresa's mediumship works, what happens to our soul when we die, what Heaven is like, what the deceased want us to know, the importance of living a positive life, and the many roles that our family, friends, angels, guides, and God play here and in the afterlife. It also explores how to safely connect with Spirit, so that we can recognize when our loved ones are reaching out.
Combining Theresa's personal story, compelling anecdotes, and client readings, this remarkable book teaches us about Spirit and helps us understand the life-affirming messages that are sent to us every day.

I love books! They have always added so much to my world. Between being a busy mom, having a demanding career, and keeping my household running smoothly, I have zero free time to just sit and read a book. Audible allows me to keep up with my reading (or "reading") while I'm working or driving or cooking or cleaning the house. I enjoy that so much - I love Audible!
Yes! Theresa Caputo has an incredible gift. And she is fun and funny which gives a light-hearted feel to a serious book.If you like her TV show "Long Island Medium", you will love this book!
I don't know that I could pick a favorite part. What I loved the most were Theresa's insights and descriptions of her ability and readings. She makes the other side feel so familiar and close that it brings comfort to me.
She is so funny and endearing!
I was moved by so many of her stories about specific readings. They helped put her descriptions of her gift and of spirit, in context.
I hope that she writes another book soon!
A great addition to the dearth of New Age books available these days. At a time when people need a reason to believe, this book provides clear insights into the realism of life on the other side. Even skeptics should find this book enlightening.
Theresa provides more detail and back story than you get to hear in the tv show. I was worried that I might be bored since I watch the show, but the book provides more stories and reasons than you get to hear in the show. At parts it does get a little controversial (more so than the show), but is an interested additive.
I went to one of her group readings at the Saban Theater in Los Angeles last year (2014) and got to see her in action. Listening to her book really helped me see how it works for her. Fascinating.
I don't have one to compare too. Can anyone? She is an original.
I liked that she narrated it herself. It really gave the book personality.
No, but I really enjoyed it. It made me want to hear more stories about the people she has read in the past. I have seen her show and got to listen to the behind the scenes of what went on too. Loved it.
Theresa is so real and quite fun. She is both entertaining and full of loving messages. This book was an inspiration to me and helped me to trust in my "visitations" from deceased loved ones instead of shrugging them off as an overactive agitation or wishful thinking.

Yes if she does another book I would so get it
All of it
Hope there is a movie about her
I have a rather eclectic love of books. I know what I like and I tend not to be a severe critic. If I enjoyed it, it gets 4 or 5 stars.
I wasn't sure if I would like the book, but I really enjoyed its down-to-earth style. Of course, Theresa read it, so how could it be anything but. I think she had some interesting information to give on the subject and although I am not sure I learned anything new, I do feel like I got the information in a different way.
