Publisher's summary

Like it or not, Hillary Clinton is almost assuredly going to run for president in 2008. It doesn't matter that her negative poll numbers are high or that her past 15 years in the public eye have been anything but smooth. Since she was a little girl she has dreamed about becoming the first female president, and now that dream is well within reach.

Esteemed journalist and New York Times best-selling author Edward Klein reveals the truth about a woman who has managed to keep much of her life private. Drawing from inside sources, Klein reveals the reality of Hillary's turbulent marriage and exposes what she and Bill have done behind closed doors. He also proves that Hillary lied to America, even in her enormously successful Living History autobiography.

Outstanding peek at the truth about Hillary.

This is a remarkable book that casts new light on all of the darkened corners of Hillary Clinton.

Should be categorized as

Probably the worst piece of trash I have ever read. Only a brain dead idiot would appreciate the mud slinging idiocy of this "writer" and not be embarrassed for his crass attempt to slander a good person's character.

I am concerned ...

Since this book was released, it has had horriblr reviews from everyone! Individuals from the conervative right are almost leading the way in their disgust. As an Independant, I am one to listen to both sides of the debate; this, however, is some of the most dishonest and disrespectful writing I have ever encountered. In interviews the author has been glib when being confronted with the myriad of errors and disingenuous inuendo that makes up most of the book. Republican friends, that have their issues with Hillary are speachless when asked about it, and all that I have talked with, including me, feel as if they "need a shower" after completing it (one of the many comments by conservatives that have written reviews).

My concern with the publisher and those selling it is that they do not clearly identify it as a work of fiction and propaganda.

Another smear

Lots of undocumented accusations and unattributed sources. More fiction than fact

Tabloid politics

Disapointing and intelectually unfit, to the point where the author loses credibility. Just stiring up dirt and slander does not make a good story it is to the point of unbeleivable. d'ont waste your time with this book.

Overtly biased. No objectivity whatsoever.

Admittedly, I only got about 1/2 way through the audiobook. Way too negative. I expected a right wing perspective, but this is pure venom.

Tough to be worse than Klein

Among the many false claims in Klein's book:

* Klein falsely claims that Hillary Clinton spoke of her Jewish relatives only after controversy arose over her hug of Suha Arafat (Klein reversed the true order of the events).

* He falsely claims the $25 million Clinton planned in 1999 to raise for her Senate campaign would be an "unprecedented" amount, ignoring the fact that another candidate had raised more than that for a Senate election held the previous year in the very same state.

* Klein falsely claims that Rick Lazio, Clinton's Republican opponent in 2000 for a New York Senate seat, sent out no direct campaign mail.

* He falsely claims that Moynihan couldn't bring himself to say Clinton's name in introducing her at her campaign announcement.

* He falsely accuses Moynihan of giving a long and rambling description of hay-cutting that, in fact, lasted all of 29 words.

* Klein falsely accuses Clinton of ignoring Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) during a speech to teachers in support of his presidential campaign.

* He falsely accuses her of not wanting Kerry to win and of spending her time in states such as South Dakota, in which Kerry had very little chance (she hasn't been to South Dakota in years).

Everything you already knew but...

This book confirms everything my intuition was already telling me about Hillary Clinton. My first "feeling" came after Bill was elected and then suddenly "Hillary Clinton" was now "Hillary Rodham-Clinton". Next, the health care debacle (did we elect her?), Vince Foster, etc. Living next door to DC, we get a constant stream of the goings on of the Rich and Political. This book explains why I had all those feelings and why all those strange people(like a Fellini film)started showing up in DC. The fatal flaw of the Clintons is that they both continue to underestimate the intelligence of the American People. They both thought that they could do what ever they wanted and we would not notice. I believe this is due to an inherent lack of ethics and morals as this book confirms. The manipulative behavior of Hillary Clinton is clear unveiled by this book. I still cannot understand why the people of New York would elect her to represent them. Hopefully, the rest of America will not make the same mistake. Tell your friends to buy this book.
