In 1949, when Soviet propaganda was asserting that free Christian worship was being tolerated behind the Iron Curtain, the Communists arrested Pastor Richard Wurmbrand in Romania for secret Christian activities. The Pastor's Wife is Sabina Wurmbrand's true story of her efforts to get her husband released, her subsequent imprisonment, and, above all, her unceasing efforts to help build a Christian Underground Church in restricted areas around the world. For the truth is that the Communists to this day cannot tolerate genuine Christianity and are still executing or imprisoning underground Christians. This is the urgent message of The Pastor's Wife.

Very inspiring life of a woman who devoted herself to God and how she was the light in darkest time bringing hope to many people.
I read these book 14yrs ago and deeply moved by courage and boldness for the Lord.
love the audio version and narration was great.
Excellent performance of an amazing story of faith and God's providence. From today's perspective one wonders how any survived. It had to be divine intervention.
Complete admiration for the faith and love of these dear Christians as they shared their faith with others even during tormenting struggles of isolation, starvation, imprisonment and separation from family and church. God's presence was with them throughout, and it it very clear.
