A book that does justice

Being a former naval officer, and seeing limited combat I know what these men went through. I know of thier character, I know this book tells the story of how these men, put it all on the line each and every day.

great read as non-fiction. action is never that smooth. us military propaganda for sure but it kept me entertained.

incredible mission stories.

Absolutely loved this book, incredible to listen to. A narration was very good and the story of missions are gripping. This is a must listen to book if you love the military or at minimum love the excitement of piloting helicopters.

Very riveting book

The complaints about the narration are just flat out wrong. It was narrated well in my opinion.
A few times the way the story jumped around from character to character was a bit confusing at times. Overall a definite yes on this book.
The Army and the US finally got things right with the formation of Delta force and the Task force 160. It's a shame it took us so long.

Excellent Read

As the previous reviewer noted, this book really does shed some light on those that do not seek it. I always find that listening to books like this make you realize just how easy our lives can sometimes be.

Some of the stories recalled herein, will leave you shaking your head. Outside of Black Hawk Down and a few other books, I had heard of zero of their exploits, but what amazing stories. Hollywood could pick out any of these stories and do an amazing movie. This is a great audio book.Night Stalkers Don't Quit

Also, since this is an audio book review, I would be remiss not to mention Patrick Lawlor. By far one of my favorite narrators, was he in the military (he also narrated Generation Kill, another great audio book) Some of his delivery and different change of characters really bring home a great read.

Outstanding Book

Great story of an air service that’s rarely talked about. The book is very well written and the narrator does a great job telling the story. Only one criticism, I understand the narrator is trying to animate certain parts, but maybe make the characters sound less like cartoon characters…

Heroes. No other word for these men!

This is an excellent narrative of the history of an amazing group of men! Thank God that such men live and have lived!

An outstanding presentation in every aspect!
An extremely well written story of the heroics of the small team of rare individuals who deemed themselves The Night Stalkers, for they ruled night. Their name is synomous with the eletist of rotor winged crews tasked with delivery of special forces whenever, wherever, under any conditions, in the dead of night. Highly recommended.
