It's a book that many spiritual aspirants could find value in...especially if you value hearing how another, comes consciously to the path. You'll find many more additional gems of Yogananda's universal teachings in this book told through the experience of Kriyananda.

Love and spirit in action

I love Swami Kryananda and his gentle loving narrative about his early life and the life with his guru Parmahansa Yogananda. I only wish I had known him while he was still alive. I am nothing short of eternally inspired by his words, stories and admonitions.

this book was written with humility and love. it has deepened my spiritual practice immensely, and inspired a current of desire for a new way of living.

Life changing

I read this book after reading Autobiography of a Yogi because I wanted to learn more about what Yogananda was like from someone who was a direct disciple. I went into it with somewhat of a negative view of Kriyananda based on his falling out with SRF, and his wiki page (later, after looking at who edits the page, it’s the same person who maintains the SRF wiki, so the facts are taken out of context, unfortunately).

I’m very happy I read this book. It led to other wonderful books published by Crystal Clarity and I realized that Kriyananda was, just as all of Master’s direct disciples were, a truly a great soul.

I do hope that you give this a chance. And I hope my brothers and sisters at SRF do more research about Kriyananda and Ananda (who have World Brotherhood Colonies !! ). Despite all the lies SRF told about Kriyananda, and their attempt to dismantle Ananda, he still had so much love for those at SRF. Such a great example for all of us. AUM.

I read the autobiography of a yogi, and this is truly the other side of that coin.
Kriyanandas voice was so sweet and loving and impregnated with Yoganandas vibration.
I took Kriya initation in the Hariharananda lineage shortly after reading autobiography of a yogi and this audiobook gave me insight into many topics I did not know before and was just what I needed.
This book is very helpful for any true seeker on the spiritual path.
