Voice is so bad
If you're old enough to remember Erma, you will be SO disappointed in this reading! Ruined it for me. Didn't get past the first chapter.

Great writing; narration all wrong
If you've listened to Erma Bombeck as read by C. M. Hebert (A Marriage Made in Heaven), there is a calm, dry delivery. This makes what Bombeck writes all the more humorous. This narration is frenetic and over-the-top. Absolutely ruined the book for me to the extent that I had to stop listening. And I love Erma Bobbeck's writing. So disappointed,

The narrator for this classic Bombeck book is ALL wrong. Bombeck had a dry wit. I wish she had read it herself!

Loved all of it!
Bombeck’s humor speaks for itself but in this case the narration, in my opinion was brilliant! Not sure why some didn’t enjoy the reading.
