Whereas her VH1 show So Notorious was brilliant, self-effacing satire, her memoir directly showcases the tabloid lies and scrutiny, her family and childhood (including a tour through the infamous Spelling mansion), her marriages, her scandalous divorce, her experiences as a new mom, and the empowering humor that stems from a private life made public caricature.
Few actresses have a personal story that's more unique and full of twists and drama than their roles. Tori's bestselling tell-all memoir is a juicy, eye-opening volume every bit as enthralling and addictive as one of her father's smash series.

I wasn't necessarily a fan of Tori Spelling before I read this, but was hoping on some 90210 secrets being spilled so I picked it up.
Boy was I surprised!! I absolutely loved this book... I have now become a true fan of Tori Spelling. I think she is very misunderstood and extremely funny! It's great to hear her own voice reading. I'm on to MOMMYWOOD now. I can't wait!
Wow, she is really good at reading her book in such an entertaining way. She should read other people's books for them too. Have plenty of time on your hands when you start listening, you wont be able to stop! Just downloaded her next book Mommywood and can't wait to listen to it too. Fun, interesting and entertaining, you will love it. You'll be sad when it over, you will want more!
I can relate to her being a mom even though I was not born with all the luxuries that Tori was, okay any luxuries lol. She is still human and relatable. I enjoyed it! Thanks!
I'm a casual to semi-avid audiobook listener mainly of the biography/memoir category. Some have been great, some awful but all educational.
Yes, I would listen again. It's actually an interesting story and Tori Spelling isn't a horrible narrator. She gets a little dramatic a few times, but nothing over the top.
Anything written and narrated by Tori Spelling probably...do I really have to list why that would be?
I don't have a favorite scene....I guess the most interesting part to me is her telling of her childhood. It is told over several chapters and recounts her relationship with her mother and late-father. It's interesting, I suppose, because it offers the point of view from someone who grew up with the money to have anything in the world and all she wanted was simplicity. That's interesting to me.
She could afford anything in the world, but all she wanted was love.
This book was good. I've listened to it multiple times. It's not my favorite but it's a good listen. It's interesting to see how trivial money is to a child who just wants to be loved. It also reinforces the old adage that money isn't everything.
Naive, oblivious, sheltered
Tori’s innocence and inability to live in the real world are both refreshing and sad. I hope that she continues to be strong for her children and learns to stand on her own two feet.
I enjoyed this audible a lot. I thought Tori was raw, honest, and truthful. She gave a heartfelt look behind the scenes what happened to her marriage, and the unfortunate fight with her mom.
I now understand why she had money issues. Living in such wealth growing up, and be given absolutely anything and everything, it's no wonder she didn't know how to even balance a checkbook.
I think she lives or tries to live like a normal person, but likes to still have the lifestyle she was accustomed to. Heck, who wouldn't? She seems like she would be a loyal friend. She has a strong support circle around her. I hope her and Dean can pull through their problems.
Nope. It was entertaining and narrated very well.
Tori. She is very like able.
I listened to all 3. This was the best one.
Definitely tv series.
Iistened to all 3. This was my favorite. She is very sweet and honest. Her natration was perfect.
