I finished the book. it still has no sunk in that the son of the leader of Hamas became an Israeli spy then converted to faith in Jesus Christ. Wow. God is awesome.

Eye opening

For my whole life I had heard Israel is the good country, Palestine is the bad country. This really opened my eyes and broadened my perspective. I never knew that Hamas had so many facets and players: some political, some militant, some religious, some a mixture. I also had no idea that Israel has equally contributed to the struggles. Never before was I a proponent of a two state solution, but now I can at least see why some hold that position.

Remarkable perspective 

Wonderful narration from author’s point of view. Highly recommended to add to anyone’s knowledge of the current conflict.

Read/listen to Son of Hamas as he reveals the amazing path throughout doubt, heartache, resistance and personal sacrifice to find and embrace ultimate truth and love.

Gripping story

A story that is as pertinent now as it was the day he wrote it. What courage it took for Mosab to face not only the very real physical dangers faced by those leaving Islam, to those sympathetic to the Israelis in a Muslim predominant area, but also to choose to change his worldview and at the same time do everything he could to live and protect his family. The book helps give a different perspective on the Middle East and on the Palestinian people. In this book I have come to regard with fondness especially his father—and also his mother. I respect their devotion to their family and to what they believe to be right—even though I strongly disagree. I pray for the safety and happiness of the author and his family, and pray that his family may some day come to know Christ as their Savior. Thank you Mosab, for having the courage to do what you did. May many lives on both sides of the situation be spared.
