What Catholic guy made money as an organ-grinder's assistant, spent one-on-one time with John Paul II, met a very nice Thai prostitute, and confessed his sins on a beanbag chair? Lino Rulli, of course!
SiriusXM radio's "The Catholic Guy", Lino Rulli, has a style and personality not typically found in the world of religious media. In this fast and funny collection of stories from his own life, The Catholic Guy speaks honestly about his failures, successes, and embarrassing moments. His "regular guy" approach to Catholicism is both humble and hilarious.
Exclusive to the downloadable audiobook edition, Lino and his SiriusXM co-hort Fr. Rob add commentary to each chapter, making this a must for every true Lino fan!

"It's a bold admission to say you're a sinner. Even bolder to write about it. Sinner is a winner." (Most Rev. Timothy Dolan, Archbishop of New York)
"Lino's book is insightful, funny, and entertaining. He may even get a sinner like me to believe!" (Gary Dell'Abate, executive producer, The Howard Stern Show)
Sin, Repent, Repeat
meh. okay. on we go.
Just like listening to him on the radio...good guy...but why does someone with a speach impediment make a living on the radio?
no, it was not that captivating
I like this guy on the radio, but got a little tired of him everyday during my commute.
Great listen with great commentary from Lino and Fr. Rob, I want to continue listening and do every day from 4-7 on the Catholic channel Sirus/Xm
Say something about yourself!
I subcribe to a lot of Catholic radio podcasts. I often get tired of questions by the uptight members of the flock about whether we should hold hands at Mass or take the Host in the palm of the hand. Since I don't get satellite radio, this was the first time I had come across this "Catholic Guy." His brutal, self-effacing comedy is music to my Gen-X ears. I recognize it's not for everyone, but if you have a devotion to the Holy Sacrament, AND also enjoy what my wife calls "boy humor", try Sinner. Also, the bonus "commentary" at the end of each chapter with Fr. Rob is hilarious.
Great way for Lino Rulli to take his daily radio show and bring his humor to the "reading" public. Not all of us get Catholic Radio on satellite radio where Lino has made his mark. Lino does a great job of mixing his personal stories up with humor and developing a Catholic Christian message.
I did not like the actual priest that inserts himself in the audio book at the end of each chapter. Could have left that out.
Lino performs this book himself and does a great job.
Very funny and well-performed. Perfect listening during my commute. It was not as much a book on religious insights, as it was an autobiography and Lino's sharing of his experiences, dilemmas and reflections on them.
The book rang true and I could relate to a lot of the anecdotes. I am sure a lot of other people can as well.
Down to earth

Yes, very funny and easy to relate to.
We love you Lino!

being Catholic is real
meeting Howard Stern
his mother is always good
yes and repeatedly
Yeah Lino I would go out with you but I'm married .
I can't believe it took me this long to listen to or read this book. Lino is hilarious on the radio and I have been wanting to read the book but have never made time to read it so we listened to the audio book on vacation. We laughed and were shocked at other parts. Great book.
Love Lino's stories and experiences in life. I see my failures in his life. It is a very touching and encouraging and also funny book. Sinners, I am too.
I'm a recent Sirius XM subscriber so I just found "The Catholic Guy" show this year. Ironically I've had the audio book in my collection for over a year but never listened to it (you know like hoarders do). But after meeting Lino at the Life Teen Youth Ministry Convention this year I thought it was high time. My only regret is I didn't listen sooner. If, like me, you love the Catholic faith but constantly feel like you fall short of the person God created you to be, and you feel like the only one in that position, this book is for you. I love that it's a collection of short stories for my ADD brain. Can't wait to listen to the next book by Lino!
